Exactly what I was hoping for
I'm going to be totally 100% honest I have yet to use lamp fixture because I do not have a day and night time timer and heating bulbs yet but I will say that I am so happy that it's the perfect size lamp fixture to put over my warm spot of my ball pythons tank I can't wait to get everything that I will need for it which will be a daytime blue bulb and a Moonlight heat bulb then I will have everything for my snake i have no doubt that this lamp fixture will work perfectly

Perfect For Geckos!
Exactly what I needed! The dome light is not very big, and the cords are nice and long. Each cord has its own on/off switch, but I have them connected to timers. The basking (red) side is my day light, and the blue side is my night light. The geckos are loving the heat this lamp is providing them. It’s sturdy and seems built to last. I love that the light fixture is ceramic and not simply aluminum. I feel comfortable leaving this plugged in 24/7. And the price was the best I’ve found anywhere. So seriously, win-win!

I use this duel dome for my bearded dragons’ 75 gallon bio terrarium with 100 watt heat (red) bulb and UV (white) bulb on one side. We replaced our other fuel dome because the interior bulb protectors (I think, they’re a brown color) burned off. It remains to be known if this dome will do the same. Regardless, this dome does its job.

This was the fourth time I have bought this item. I use it for our water turtles. It has heat and UVB bulbs, and we keep them running 24 / 7 all year. They have been lasting use for about four years.

Works great. Got this to put on top of a wire screen top to a 10 gallon aquarium where we keep our Leopard Gecko. We keep it on one side so there’s a warm side and a cool side. The height sitting on the wire top gives it a perfect temp if the gecko wants to bask below it by sitting on top of its half log hideaway.

Long lasting
Functions well, I use a UVB and plant light in it for my lizard and not only has it not died on me, but the bulbs seems to last a good 8-14 months. Works better than the one I bought at the pet store that kept popping the bulb filaments.
