I am very pleased with my purchase! This hose has been perfect for watering my flowers around the house! It's so portable!! I can go from the backyard to the front with such ease. It's so lightweight and flexible. I never have problems with tangling anymore. The brass connectors look pretty sharp too, have had no issues with leaking around faucets. Love that I can turn the hose off with the valve, very convenient if I'm not close to the faucet. If you're looking for a high quality, durable and easy to use hose, the Arbour expanding hose will not let you down!

Loved the hose when I received them (2). After 10 months both developed leaks about 12 inches from the end. Now one hose is totally unusable. The hoses were used about one time each week for 10 minutes each time. They were drained after each use. Like the concept - hate the quality.

The hose was a cinch to setup and start to use. Drip free as far as I could tell. So much so, I forgot the water was on and left the hose pressurized. Some time later, it sprung a leak at the faucet and was spewing water for some time. Disappointing, because I was just so psyched to ditch my regular monstrosity hose goodbye.

First off, I did NOT receive any discount or free promotional products for this review. So my review is not purchased or biased from the seller.The hose seems very strong and looks well made but time is the real test. This is replacing a cheap flexible hose I picked up at a local store, it had plastic fittings and lasted less than a year before the outer layer of the hose let go and I had big water balloon looking bumps in the hose. I do like the brass fittings of this hose - looks and feels much stronger. Although the on/off valve seems to be very close to the end and I was concerned any attachment would interfere with it but I was able to attach my previous brass nozzle and still use the on/off valve. I think the mfg saved a bit on shortening the fitting with the on/off valve, but is works. The fabric covering the hose feels much thicker than the cheap one I had. It is nice to get the extra rubber washers.The "free" 8-function Spray Nozzle is 100% plastic and feels really cheap, I used my old brass nozzle. I am surprised that a good quality hose would include something so cheap. It does make me question the hose quality.

This appeared to be a great product. Looked well made with brass connections however after less than three months it started to leak where the brass connector joined the hose section.

What a great hose. It came in a box with some directions included. The directions were nice as this is the first expandable type of hose I have purchased. It's also perfect for my needs as it's lightweight and portable. Descriptions in the listing are spot on.... very durable too!! It's nice to have this hose for watering my plants on the patio as,well as cleaning off the patio! The expanding feature is neat! I like watching the hose fill with water and expanding. I have had no issues with leaking or tangling since I've started using it.Thank you Arbour for a great hose!!!! I will be recommending to friends & family.

Less than a year's use and the brass fitting failed; useless! It was reasonably priced then at $29.99 but now it's $69.99 . . . REALLY?! for a product fail that has no replacement policy? NOT!

I recently purchased this product to replace a similar expandable hose I had bought in a local chain hardware store. The brass end fittings and triple core were the main selling points to me.The other hose had ruptured after about a year's service, but to be honest, I believe this was because I had left it pressurized 24/7 for over a week while doing twice a day watering of a transplanted tree, flowers and shrubs. This type of hose is not intended for that sort of use, and had I simply turned off the faucet, I'm sure I would still be using itIn some of the negative reviews I read as I was selecting this product, I saw several comments about reduced pressure and flow, and that the hose would contract during use. It's important to consider the design of the hose relative to it's intended use. If you will be filling a pool, mixing concrete, or any other task that requires full flow though an open-ended hose, this is not the right tool for the job. For that sort of application you need a large diameter conventional hose. This product is very well suited for use with a nozzle because the back pressure caused by the nozzle is what expands the hose to its full length; less pressure, shorter length. This is a great product for use on a patio, pool deck, garage, or garden where you would normally be using a nozzle or wand on the end of the hose. I have also used it very successfully with my electric pressure cleaner.Others commented the spray nozzle that come with the hose is rather chintzy. It really is. If you don't get adequate pressure and flow, try another spray nozzle before you give up on the hose. If all you're doing is watering plants on the patio, the freebie will probably suffice.
