Not as comfortable as it is described
I thought it would be more soft fluffy and comfortable but it is not. I don't think it is memory foam

I've waited to write this review until I tested the pillow while traveling. After 6 total flights with layovers totaling approx.17 hours travel time to/from my destination, here's what I have to say.. I am so happy with this pillow! It is very comfortable and the memory foam lets you mold it around you as needed. Being the pleb that I am, I always travel economy-making flying one of the least comfortable ways to get from point A to point B. This pillow made it possible for me to sleep on most of my flights, and at the airport terminals. I crammed it into all sorts of positions, and it held it's ground, always scrunching comfortably to the curves of my head/shoulder/side/back/face/leg and then instantly bouncing back. Once I arrived at my destination, it became an extra pillow to sleep with, and it was perfect for that too-the fabric is super soft and cozy. Now, here are some general comments and recommendations. I say these with the caveat that they should not keep you from ordering this awesome pillow, just be aware so you can be a more informed buyer. 1. There is no removable pillowcase. As a plane germophobe this seemed to be an issue for me, and almost kept me from buying. Don't let that stop you from buying this pillow! That being said, so, what's a germophobe to do? I cut up two old pillow cases and did about 20 minutes worth of hand sewing on each to make perfect fit pillowcases. I even put a button on one like a mini duvet cover with the clip hanging out the top of the open side. [A sewing machine would have taken about 2 minutes to finish the cases.] If you don't sew, use dust bags from your purses, or soft travel bags for your shoes to cover it with. I didn't wash the pillow upon returning home, just the cases, and I was totally satisfied by spraying the pillow with some Lysol. 2. The little drawstring would better serve it's purpose if it were elastic, and if the tuck-pocket were about half the size of the pillow. The pillow regularly popped open from it's little tucked ball, and that was due to it slipping out of the drawstring and tiny tuck-pocket. Whatever, this really isn't a big deal. The pillow squishes down so much that you can mash it into your carry-on and make it the same size as if it were tucked into itself anyway. 3. Yes, the pillow smelled like memory foam for a few days when I received it. To remedy this I let it air out, and the smell went away. Try spraying some fabric refresher on it to dispel the smell, as well. This also wasn't a big deal and shouldn't deter you from buying this pillow. 4. The clip and toggle did not get in my way at all, I didn't notice they were there when I used the pillow in all sorts of sleeping positions. I should also mention that, yes, I paid full price for this and did a TON of research before doing so, looking at pages and pages of travel pillows. Save yourself the time and just order this now. When I can afford another splurge, I want to try their travel towel. This company makes a solid product.

Some thoughts: - Adjustable cord for proper rollup storage to keep everything compact - The adjustable cord also helps customize the firmness of the pillow to your liking. The pillow is made of shredded memory foam which means you can push some of the shreds to one side and lock them there to make a softer pillow - Lightweight material. It does not weigh much although the pillow appears to be less than compact than most compact pillow. - Carabiner makes the pillow portable and can be easily hooked onto your bags, instead of stuffing it into your suitcase and taking up space. - Good size for air travel and short term usage as a guest pillow or lounging pillow - Fleece covering provides extra comfort and feels amazing against the skin. - The whole pillow can be washed on gentle cycle and air dried. It takes a few days to dry but the fabric washes up nicely. Overall, this is a great travel pillow. I won’t say it is compact but it is comfortable than most compact pillows and remains portable. I occasionally submit reviews for products I enjoy so I got to buy this first one at a cheaper price. If I rate this product 5 out of 5, I will purchase it again and will recommend the product to others. If I rate this product 4 out of 5, I will purchase it again in the case there is no alternative option. If I rate this product 3 out of 5, I won’t purchase it again but I will keep using the current one I have. Anything below 2 out of 5 is sent back to the returns department if possible and I will not purchase anything from this company. I am a shopper who relies heavily on reviews and I work hard to provide my honest opinion of the product. This note is a mix of my objective views and personal thoughts on the product. I hope you it gives you a better sense of the product you are looking at.

I mean the traveling aspect of it is nice, folds easily and does become a nice small size but I have a pretty hard time sleeping in planes or getting comfy and this shape and thinness of the pillow did make it kinda hard to get comfortable. I did a 19 hour flight with this and honesty just used what the airline provided (some international fights will give you a small pillow) and that worked better. Overall it’s not a bad pillow! It is good quality just didn’t work for me in a plane.

This pillow was purchased for an upcoming trip in July. My flight is within the states but it’s very long + layover. When I first opened this it was 3 separated memory foam pieces and I knew they would take a while to “inflate.” After a few hours it fluffed up quite nicely. When I feel it with my hands it’s still a little lumpy but when I cuddle it and lay my head on it, it’s actually comfortable enough for my flight. I might even use it at the hotel to sleep! I’m not sure I’m going to stuff it back into the pouch (it folds into itself in a pocket on the pillow that can be turned out and over the other end of the pillow for comfort) unless it doesn’t fit in my carry on. The reason being that it is going to take a few hours to fluff out. Unless you arrive to the airport early and have to wait a while for your flight - I recommend leaving it open. By the time it fluff up you will already be leaving the plane. So if your flight is 3 hours long it takes that time for the pillow to fluff up. This product did not have any chemical odor even though it tells you it might due to the memory foam. If you have any weight restrictions it’s a little more weighted so try not to overpack if taking it. It comes with a clip that once folded, can be hung on your carry on or luggage. I have no weight restrictions on my carry on so I’m good! I think this pillow is going to do well for my trip. I will edit this review and update once I use it for my two flights (8 hours total) next month!
