Junk. Wish I never bought it.
Useless. I should have looked up other online reviews beforehand. It stitches but since there is no bobbin, all the stitches come undone. Definitely a waste of money and I wish I had never bought it. Also, packaging was really bad. I got the box completely mangled and almost flattened if it were not for the actual object keeping the box together.

Now I know how it works, it's Great!!
The instructions are in Chinese and the pictures are black & white and unclear.This video helped me a Lot - it shows how you thread it and how to knot it after so it won't pull out.Taking off the bottom cover off to see for myself how it worked was the most helpful part though. If you try to feed/pull your fabric through too forcefully or you try to use it crazy fast, the thread won't hook on the bottom (see pictures) so the stitch doesn't work.Now I've got get hang of it it is Awesome for little fast projects - or even big ones if the fabric isn't too thick.I'm also really impressed that the thread tensioner is an adjustable knob, and the needle can be replaced!I originally got this to add to my cosplay repair kit for a fix in an emergency, but now I have the hang of it, it is so (sew? - bad pun) easy I know I'm going to use the crap out of it.

It's easier to see by hand. There is no stability, no speed, no instructions, nothing.Fine, there are instructions. In Chinese.

The item works perfectly for me.
Not sure what the fuss is all about. The item is not by any means perfect but I have no issues using it. I have never sown before and it took me 5 minutes of trial and error to see how the item works and then started using it. The secret for me was the thread tension, if it is too tight or loose the back loop does not function, which will cause the thread to come right out. I bought this to repair my aquarium sump filter bags that had come apart.

Item received was in terrible condition and appeared to be broken. I was excited about this product and was very disappointed to open package to see what appeared to be a used or broken item.
