I purchased 2 sets of this TV mount for my class C motorhome with 32 inch TV. I originally had overhead cabinets with entertainment center and converted it to an overhead sleeper bed. As you can see by the picture with the cardboard mockup, I added a third arm to give me enough reach (beware, this is probably not recommended by the manufacturer). The TV weighs about 13 pounds and we do not use it while traveling. For swing-out and stowage against the sidewall it works great. As others have mentioned, it is somewhat difficult to tighten the knobs. Not a deal-breaker though, as I could find nothing else that fit my needs. I now have extra parts in case I need them (some have mentioned the interlocking serrations wear out eventually). I also used the extra mounting plate as a stiffener (as a clamping force) on the back side of my 3/4 inch thick wood upright with 1/4 inch thru bolts for extra support (sorry pic is washed out in this area). I then used a small picture to hide it. I found the hidden cable channels to be more hassle than benefit, so I just ran the coax and blu-ray cables alongside with zip ties (can't really see them anyway). When rotating in and out I always support the TV with another hand to take weight off and make moving it easier. So far I have traveled over 4,000 miles with no issues. I hope this information can help someone else, and anxiously await a generous kickback from the manufacturer for doubling their Mount-IT orders on Amazon.

I like that the kit includes 2 wall mounting plates. It is nice to be able to move the TV easily between two different areas. They also include a large assortment of screws to attach just about any TV to the mount. All the parts are strong cast aluminum and the cable routing setup is clever and gives a neat installation. The only downside I can think of is that it is not possible to eliminate all free play from the joints. No matter how tight you make the knobs, there remains some movement at some of the pivots. Nevertheless, the mount prevents the TV from swinging about while driving, so it does do it's job. And, although not a deal-breaker, it would be nice if the mount was black instead of silver.

The reviews on this were very helpful for me. So I want to add my 2 cents. First off I was missing one of the wall plates in my package. I called Mount It and they were phenomenal and are sending me the extra plate. Total call was 6min. Now for the TV mount. It says it goes up to 43in tv. I have a 50 and had seen some reviews state that it will fit a 50. I bought mint extenders but I did not need them. The locking teeth were something several people complained about as not locking tight enough. It is a little weird design because it’s designed so you can hand tighten it but then the nobs have Allen heads to super tighten it. My 50 is not terribly heavy but i still had to crank the Allen’s down to hold tight. I haven’t traveled with it yet but so far mounting was easy. And it’s holding. I would recommend this TV mount

This is a sturdy TV mount that gives a lot of mobility if that is what you are looking for, however this is definitely a standard TV mount that is being advertised for RV's. The mounting hardware provided was for a solid 2x4 stud wall as the bolts provided were longer than the depth of an RV wall. I swapped those out with different ones so I wouldn't screw through the outside of my RV. I originally purchased this mount due to the slide nature at the base so I could remove the TV during travel and use the same TV for the outdoor mount. The biggest issue with this which I did not foresee was that it slides in from the top and the way the bracket arms are stacked it puts the TV higher than the mounting bracket. RV's have short ceilings and you have to account for this during installation, so the TV mount sits much lower on the wall than anticipated. You can mount it higher to where the top of the TV is close to the ceiling, but then you have to remove the motion mounts in the arm every time you remove the TV. If you are looking for a full motion TV mount and you don't need to remove the TV than this would probably work (barring changing out the hardware for shallower walls).

Very impressed, and stout ! Attaching it to my gazebo and under cover, and the garage during the winter months. Perfect !! looking for one that withstands the test of time , this is it . Was worth every penny . Very versatile

We were specifically after a bracket that could detach so we can take the TV outside and this came with two plates for the wall. We have one in the Kitchen and one outside. We pick the TV up and carry it outside and then drop it onto the other bracket. The arm can we locked, by tightening the screw wheels and then it is very strong. It is a great product and very sturdy, and the beauty of the very slim wall mounted plate, is that when the TV is not on it, it is not a massive bracket arm in the way, it is very discrete. Also I love the little spirit level for leveling the plate. Can't recommend strongly enough, even is you want a fixed location sturdy bracket.

Für das Wohnmobil ein sehr guter TV Halter. Durch die zwei Wandhalter sehr flexibel. Fernseher mal hinten im Schlafbereich oder mal vorne an der Sitzecke. Mt einem kleinen Fernseher ist das ja kein Problem. Die Arretierung kann ich nicht beurteilen, wir nehmen den Fernseher vor der Fahrt immer aus den Wandhaltern heraus. Das geht alles ganz fix und ist nicht umständlich
