Just by playing, you'd get to learn a bit more about the mathematics of permutation and probability, the science of game theory, as well as the art of ambigrams and typography, among other things. You might even get to learn a bit more about your friends and family! Of course, expect to expand your vocabulary as you validate the words that you find or form. Great idea. Could be flashier if more game rules were included. Solitaire word game fun!
The concept here is great. Being able to use any (ANY!) card as either of two letters opens the door to all kinds of cool game ideas, and the cards come with a few, for varying numbers of players. I've so far only played the solitaire game, and it is both enjoyable and difficult. It plays vaguely similarly to Klondike solitaire, with stacks of cards face-down, leaving you only the topmost [faceup] cards to build words with.Like Klondike, just clearing the stacks is the real goal. If you manage that you can go for high score. But, really, just clearing it is tough. Especially if you haven't memorized the commonality of each letter card, and you haven't been card counting. This may be the game that finally sees me learn this skill! (I guess I'm somewhat adept at it, having used it for years in playing The Great Dalmuti, but I hardly ever play poker)Anyway, worth a few bucks, and hopefully there will be lots of word game hacks for this deck, as it's just begging for them!

Letters are difficult to identify
This game is cute in theory but is a little difficult to play. While some of the cards are noticeable no matter which way they are turned, some of them just look very confusing and are not identifiable. The game includes a chart of all the letters for reference but when you are playing the versions that necessitate speed that's not ideal. Even when speed is not important, it's annoying to have to use the reference guide to determine what letter a card is supposed to represent. I wish I could return the game because I envision it just sitting around not being played but we already opened and used it.

Great if you have a very high IQ
I love Bananagrams, but this game just gave me a headache. The rules are very confining and I didn't find the letters all that easy to read. Supposedly letters can be interchangeable because they're made to look like two different letters combined, but depending on which letter you choose to use, you get more points. But the words you can form are short and limited. I found it frustrating, but our high IQ friends seemed to welcome the challenge. To me it should be fun, but this was far from that to me, and I am strong with languages, bilingual and have been told I'm a great writer in English.

This is both a really creatively conceived game and a game that enhances creativity. Players can make up their own rules. It challenges the players to view letters and words in a different way, and I have to constantly pay attention. The letter designs are great. We had a lot of fun playing with our 11 year old daughter and it is a smart fun way for the family to bond.

Hours of fun!
We bought this game based on the reviews, and it was a great stocking stuffer for Christmas. We didn't play it till a few months after we bought it, and man, this game is great! There are multiple games within the one deck of cards for countless hours of fun. We have a 9 year old son who loves this game. It really challenges him and is fun at the same time.

I like that it challenges them
A little tough for my high school students who have special needs. The font that allows them to switch letters is going to take them awhile to get used to. I like that it challenges them.

OK... a little strange but a brain puzzler
This card game is interesting, but it was so different and interesting that I was almost dizzy trying to play! I think it really challenges the brain in a new way! Cool but not sure if it is a complete success as it was gift for my husband and he only played it once and it was put away... haha

Very fun for kids & adults
Very fun for kids & adults. I did take a permanent marker & label each cards reverse letter as some of the interchangeable letters were confusing for kids, on the backside of every card is the alphabet to show you the each letters reverse..
