Learn Linux in 5 Days Paperback – 8 Feb. 2015

If using this book teaches Linux in 5 days I will be shocked it is again full of affiliate links don't explain things clearly geared towards affiliate links promoting 3rd parties and "courses" on authors own website time would be better spent on Google search then reading this book as the information contained in the book is poor due to the authors need to advertise his affiliate links to 3rd parties and his other books and "courses" I brought this book and Linux for beginners by same author both books are basically the same, both have affiliate links and links advertising authors other books and courses in virtually every chapter and links to pointless software again to drive readers towards his paid courses

Great for a complete beginner and has a nice easy teaching style. The diagrams dont display well on a Kindle, but I think thats a limitation of the kindle, not the book.

Seemed like a good book, but upon opening on my kindle many of the images are missing... Now looking for a refund.

Learn nothing of any importance...Waste of time and money

I’ve bought most of J. Cannon’s books on Kindle. It’s great to have them on the go weather reading or as a reference. linuxtraingacademy.com has affordable classes that are great as well.

Bought this on a mistaken whim thinking I would actually someday have time to learn it.My bad. It’s probably good.

It's a really great book for someone who's just starting to learn Linux.

Das e-Book hat leider störende Mängel:- Der Umbruch funktioniert nicht sauber, das heißt es werden immer wieder drei aufeinander folgende Wörter zusammengeschrieben angezeigt, so dass der Fliesstext unnötig schwer zu lesen ist.- Zahlreiche Bilder werden nicht angezeigt, weil anscheinend der Link zur Bildquelle nicht korrekt ist.Deshalb trotz des guten Inhalts nur 3 Sterne.

Good for what it is. I am a beginner so what do I have to compare to?
