Perfect First Racquet for a Young Player
I bought this HEAD Speed Jr. racquet for my 5-year-old daughter, and it has been a huge hit. The size and weight are perfectly proportioned for a small child, making it easy for her to swing and control without getting frustrated. She absolutely loves playing with it and feels like a "real" tennis player. It's lightweight enough for her to handle comfortably but seems durable enough to withstand the enthusiastic play of a kindergarten. An excellent, quality introductory racquet that successfully builds confidence and a love for the game. Highly recommend for young beginners.

Nice, Cheap Racquet
This cheap, basic racket is very good for kids up to 7-8 year old.

An outstanding choice for young beginners
The balance of this racquet is one of its best qualities. By greatly reducing vibration, this design feature makes hitting the ball more stable and comfortable. My kids were able to play for longer periods of time without experiencing any discomfort, which is a benefit for any parent trying to keep their kids active.Another important consideration is durability, and these racquets' aluminum o-beam structure guarantees that they will survive the inevitable knocks and drops. The racquet appears to be in good condition despite being used frequently, suggesting it will last until my kids are ready to move up to higher sizes. The racquet's lack of a protective cover is one small disadvantage. A cover would have been a nice addition to help protect the racquet during transport and storage. However, this is a small issue and can be easily remedied by purchasing a separate cover.

great build, string tension and feel.
As good as they come for this price.great build quality (my 11 year old has been banging this on the ground during play occassionally but not a thing). there are scuff marks of course but the integrity is in place.great string tension out of the box and comfortable grip (doesn't slip or anything).definitely recommended.

Probably wait until they’re older than 3 years old.
Works as it should. A little too big and heavy for my 2 yo toddler. I was too optimistic. Hopefully they will be ready in a year for it.
