A treat for your eyes
These eye masks are so soothing after a day at the computer. The scent is light and the warmth of the mask is the best sensation.

Gentle warmth for tired eyes that works
I love these things. I have used many boxes of them. They are warm, comforting, comfortable and keep the heat for à surprising amount of time. For me, they have helped with my headaches, calming when stressed and sometimes just for a pick-me-up treat.

Very convenient & work great
At first I was not sure if I liked these eye masks, as they didn't seem to get warm enough the first time. I've compared them to another eye mask I own, and looked up the temperature they should safely be, and they DO get warm enough. You wouldn't want them so warm that they're unsafe for eyes. They're very convenient in that they're already prepackaged and you can just grab one to use without having to heat it up, like the reusable eye masks I had been using, which are always hard to get the to the temp (warm enough, but not unsafely hot). The reusable masks also need to be cleaned after every use (or use some type of barrier sheet), but these are so much more convenient and you can just pull out a fresh, clean mask each time. They seem a little flimsy, but if they're disposable, you wouldn't want to spend more on a more durable item. They work fine for a single use, and stayed on my face well. Very relaxing on the eyes, and they say that heated eye masks are supposed to help with clogged eye glands and blepharitis.I tried the unscented because I didn't want any type of fragrance to bother my sensitive eyes.

My favorite!
Knocked a star off because I’ve never had a box of these that actually had a scent, though one had a weird chemical smell to it. Otherwise, I love this brand.Super cute with the cat prints and the heat and moisture is perfect for tired and dry eyes. I take them on international trips though I’m not brave enough to use them on the plane, but they absolutely help my dry eyes. Pretty reasonably priced compared to the Japanese Kao ones, even though they aren’t the cheapest, I’m mostly sold on the colors and print. I’ve bought maybe 8 boxes (lavender and jasmine) and maybe 1 had the chemical smell while the rest had none of the advertised scents, which doesn’t bother me at all. Love using these in the winter and sometimes pull it over my nose when it’s cold and dry, helps humidify the mucous membrane as well! I’ll continue to buy them anyway, I can’t say they last a long time compared to competing brands, but I would say on average 2 hours depending on the weather and environment, which feels like an adequate time for relief to me.

A great option for people with severe dry eye syndrome
I had LASIK surgery in 2005, and as I've gotten into my 40s, dryness had become a big problem for me. My optometrist advised that I use a heated compress every day to help keep my myobium glands (the oil glands at the base of the lashes that express a tiny amount of oil with every blink, which keeps the test later of your eyes from evaporating) working well. The problem I ran into with the mask is that, while it's weighted (send to be filled with some kind of coarse sand) and feels good when using it at first, getting the right temperature in the microwave can be tricky (to little Ave it isn't effective, too much and you can burn your eyelids) and the heat doesn't last the full 20 min I'm supposed to use it. Plus, at the end of a long day when I've relaxed before sleep, I don't want to have to get up, microwave the thing, and then come back to bed, just to have to get up in 20 min to put it away. (I tried using it during the day, but it messes with my vision for about 30 min to an hour after use, so that doesn't work for me)I can't across these masks when looking for alternatives, and they are AMAZING! I got the rose scented, and it barely smells, just a light, pleasant scent. The active ingredient starts to heat up as soon as you take it out of the package. I like to shift it around a bit to really get it mixed and activated, but it's not necessary. The ear loops are soft and flexible; pull them away from the mask to stretch them out before wearing. It's rather square, so it isn't light blocking, and you have to manipulate it to cover both eyes. I've been using this mask under the weighted one I was using, and it's perfect. It holds a gentle but intense heart for about an hour! Apply it, lay down and take a nice nap, and when you wake up, your eyes will feel better, and you can just dispose of the mask. I will definitely be purchasing other scents to try then out!

Really nice to help you get a good night's sleep, won't bother allergies
I like that these last for 45+ minutes. I tried the KAO ones from Japan, and don't get me wrong those are great. But, the material they are made from is quite loose and I've found that it tickles my nose and bothers me while I sleep. And I think that that irritates my allergies because then I sneeze. I also think the heat one those from KAO is less minutes, so it's too quick. So far, I've tried 3 different brands of eye steam mask, this one, the KAO and another Chinese one. Of those 3, I prefer this one the most.I've used the unscented which I prefer, the lavender and rose.I prefer this one for sizing, length of time for the heat, the materials that don't fray on the nose area, and that because it's disposable it's very clean and hygienic.I use it nightly!
