Exceeded my expectations in Quality, Durability..
I've had my Chaco Slides for five months. They've been my daily footwear for the majority of that time. I've beaten the heck out of them, from casual wear, yard work, hiking trails, etc. To be honest I'm very surprised they've been able to keep up and not fall apart based on some of the negative reviews written about them. Maybe I was extra lucky with this pair, but I couldn't be more pleased. They've been washed several times and thought maybe that would start making them fall apart, but no, they just get more broken in and more comfortable. The material they're made out of isn't supposed to last forever, but they must be made well to keep up with my constant beating I've put them through for 5 months now. I doubt they'll last another 5 months with as unforgiving as I am with them,.. but who knows,.. regardless I'm going to continue to buy these Slides. I love them and would highly recommend.

Great Sandals, Size Down!
As others have said, the weird thing about these sandals is how little you can adjust the strap, compared to other Chacos. I normally wear a 12, which I had for about 2 years, and they were always a little loose. Fine for walking around, not so great for anything with an incline. They finally broke when I was walking through some mud, so I replaced with an 11 (12's weren't in stock in my color). Turns out that the 11 actually fit me perfectly. Very light weight and comfortable, and I get lots of compliments on the color.

Not very durable.
If you want a high instep the sandle will probably be comfortable. I bought a size smaller than my normal shoe size and I still couldn't snug it up to make it not flop around. I wore them about 30 times and the strap pulled out of the sandle. There is no reinforcing in the sandle to handle the stress of your body weight on the strap if you get a little sideways on the sandle. I was expecting much more durability for the high price. I think it would be better to by some cheap Walmart sandle and replace them more often. These cost me more than a dollar a day. Bottoms barley worn but sandals useless

Prone to breaking
My first pair broke within a year. Same area that is breaking for others. I really like the fit of the sandal, so I bought two more pair knowing that they wouldn't last forever. I have now had the two new pair for over a year in a half with no issues. Probably helps that I alternate between the sandals and am aware of where they are prone to breaking.

Chaco chilo slides
I love my Chacos it's made the way your foot is really supposed to sit I hate those tennis shoes you know they think the Hill's supposed to be a little higher and they wear them and where I'm going to start looking like it's exploding out the back end of your heel I don't like that one bit these are made nice the tacos I always get the man size because I got a wider foot than this girl's and it always fits me better if I get a man size now I have both the women too and the tacos and it fit perfect it was wide enough I don't know if I had to select medium or wide I can do medium I don't actually need wide but I don't need slim that's for sure but yeah I like the tacos they worth the money although the price is little pricey you know but I like to take care of my feet cuz you take care of your feet you got a better back

Sturdy and well designed slip ons
The slippers were on a deal and I had to buy them as a gift for my husband. He love swearing them. It wraps the feet perfectly when the straps are adjusted. Olive green colour looks classy. Can be used for outdoors and rough terrain as the soles are very strong. Don't recommend this was people who avoid arch support.

The do break.. bought two pairs.
I bought two pairs because I like the comfort and style, but they both broke. One missed step or rolled ankle in the grass and they’re toast. If you see the pictures throughout all the reviews, you’ll see where they break. If you’re wearing them around the house, you’re good. If you plan to wearing them out all day…You’re gonna be out a shoe at some point.

They're all right...I guess.
I bought these to have something easy and comfortable to wear around the house while I'm working from home. I have owned several styles of Chaco sandals and replace them without hesitation as soon as they wear out, which is rare considering the quality of all of their products. These are the first ones that I've owned that likely won't replace. There's nothing really WRONG with them, they just don't quite work as well as my other Chacos. What I don't like about them: - The foot bed is kind of weird. There is a slight texture to them, but they're kind of smooth so they don't feel completely secure on my feet when I take a step. My feet also sweat in them, which is something that doesn't happen with any of my other Chacos, at least not that I've ever noticed. I'm assuming it's because they don't have the same embossed diamond grid pattern as my other ones. I wear socks with them. Black socks with light-colored sandals. It's hideous, and I always change into something else when going out to check the mail or take out the trash because I don't want my neighbors to think that I'm "that guy"...but the ugly truth is, I'm wearing socks with sandals...so I am "that guy", I'm just not comfortable with it yet. - They're ugly. Black wasn't available when I ordered them, so went with what looked like a tasteful "Moon Stone" color. I wear a size 15, it shouldn't still surprise me that a shoe that looks really good in a size 10 in the photos ends up looking like clown shoes. The black socks aren't helping. - The adjustment strap doesn't stay where I put it. This is the only real complaint that I have with these shoes. I tighten them 4-5 times a day, and they always slip about 1/2". Not enough to be unwearable, but just enough to let my feet slide too far forward in the sandal. Occasionally when I look down and notice that my black-socked toes are hanging over the front of the sandal, it triggers a mini mid-life crisis and I have a fleeting urge to go put on real shoes, a nice shirt, maybe some pants, and go work out. But not enough of one to actually go do any of those things, so I just reach down and re-tighten them. What I like about them: - They've got that arch support that make Chaco sandals so comfortable. - Footbed is softer than normal Chaco sandals...so comfortable. - Really well made. I've been wearing them for a few months, and even with the softer material in the footbed, they're showing no sign of wear. - They're ugly. I mean, they're slide sandals. I've never seen a pair of slides and thought "that is some nice looking footwear!" I've decided to lean into it. If I had to do it over again, I would have ordered the neon green color instead of the tasteful moonstone color just be confrontational about how they look with my black socks. But still, I get a lot of enjoyment out of the look of disgust on my wife's face when she sees me wearing them. And, to be fair, I have a friend that has a pair, and they look completely fine on her normal-sized, well-manicured feet.

Strap broke off, can't fix.
As others have said and I didn't listen. These are great at first, but after very minimal use the strap broke from the attachment of the sandal. If you want something to last a couple months these are amazing sandals. If you expect more for $60+ look elsewhere. Trust me. Very bummed as I really liked these. Shame.

Don't buy these!
I gave these sandals a second chance after my first pair broke as they're super comfy and supportive. Second pair broke in the same place. If you never kneel, crouch or stand on your toes they will probably last ages however both my pairs broke for the action of putting a knee on the ground. I love Chaco sandals but these should not be on the market.

Comfort, comfort , comfort !
My first pair were given to me s a gift I found they were so comfortable on my feet. When they wore out after 3 years of constant use , ( without a second thought ) I bought these again . Like walking on a layer of cotton .
