Compatible Cut-to-fit Carbon Pre Filter for Honeywell Filter C HEPAClean, HRF-C1 (1)

I purchased this to replace the "pre filter" on my Therapure TPP640 air purifier. Good quality - not too flimsy. Cutting to fit, I will get 4 out of it. I used a rotary cutter to get nice, straight cuts & it fit fine.

Perfect item to replace old filter in my air purifier. East to install and comes with Velcro strips to secure it in place. I had a little left over after cutting to fit. Easy Peasy! Highly recommend.

I use this for everything! I tape it to the back of big box fan if I'm painting, I put them in my house registers to reduce dust in the winter, I use it to create a false bottom in my terrariums, I use it to block all the air inflow in all of our game systems!! It stops the consoles from getting clogged with dust so I can just replace them rather than taking the console apart to clean it. This sh*% is awesome!!

Doubling it up is way too much. If it was just a tiny bit thicker it would be perfect. Just way too much light pass through holding it up in the air. Catches things fine but the lessened restriction creates a a higher pitch from my air purifier that isn't there with stock prefilter.Probably going to cover the back of my box fan with the rest .

I bought this filter material for a DIY solder fume extractor. It filters very well when doubled up, but it restricts airflow quite a bit. My extractor uses a very powerful 120mm server fan rated for high static pressure and 250 CFM, and even then, I have to turn it up pretty far (maybe 60-70% power) to draw in smoke, even when the extractor is placed almost directly above the workpiece. When I use a single layer, airflow is improved, but it doesn't catch all the smoke.In a larger air cleaner with a bigger fan, this stuff should be great, but if you're making a DIY solder fume extractor (especially with a computer fan), you may want to look elsewhere.

So much cheaper than the custom cut/fit filters for sale. I use this on my air purifiers and litter boxes. Just cut to size, then easily store until needed. Highly recommended! Works great!

Thick/dense/strong. Bought this bulk option to cut-to-size for the inside of the lid of stainless steel countertop compost bin. Cheaper than the precut circles. Good quality, works well.

This filter is very good qualityWe have been using this in our hepa air purifer gets all of the smell of cooking ect out of the houseWould recommend this product.

I bought these to cover my heating vents as well as to use as a pre-filter for my air cleaner, but I find these are a lot thicker and more dense than I expected. Compared to the on brand pre-filter for my air cleaner, it is thick and more opaque. They are too thick/dense to use for my heating grates as well.
