Logitech 910-003879 Logitech G600 Mmo Usb Laser Gaming Mouse

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled for this product. This mouse is legit. I would recommend this mouse to anyone who plays games that allow hotkeys in any form. Durability: I bought one in February 2013, and I have used it heavily for two years. I'm talking lots of clicks, lots of macro button usage, and on top of that, lots of packing it up (winding up the cord, throwing it in my bag) and unpacking it, and it performed quite well the entire time. The cord didn't fray, the connections didn't get loose, etc. I knew the day would come when it would wear out, because of how heavily I use it (mainly me packing it up and moving it constantly - I'm talking almost daily), but it took two whole years for that to happen! Just a few days ago, my left mouse button started doing this weird double-click thing, where I click once but it registers two clicks (occasionally), so I bought a new one. I love this mouse so much, and it has served me well despite how I treated it, so I just had to have another. Functionality (maybe the most important part): I love the layout of the thumb buttons. There is so much flexibility. I used this mouse to play MMOs where you constantly have to switch between skills. It's so much nicer having all the skills on the thumb button, leaving your left had free for WASD movement (this is especially great for ARPGs where you have to skillshot stuff - less important for MMOs like WoW where you just click your target, then dump your skills on it). The firmware that comes with the mouse is easy to use, and I like the fact that there are multiple profiles that you can keep for multiple games / multiple functions within one game. Also, I was surprised at how often I used the 3rd mouse button. It's great for commonly used skills/functions. Last but not least - I like how the thumb buttons are contoured so you can easily feel which button you have your thumb on. You can tell the difference between the buttons. Aesthetic: This mouse just looks cool. I got the white one, and on top of the white body with black accents looking slick (I constantly get comments about my cool mouse), the thumb buttons have different colored LEDs that you can program to backlight different profile selections i.e. you can have your WoW setup show green lights, your Herocraft setup show rainbow lights (it fades from one color to the other), and your work setting (yes, I use this mouse at work, too!) use white lights. Value: You aren't going to find a mouse this awesome for a lower price. In fact, you might not even find a mouse this awesome at a higher price!

I've been using the Razer Naga 2012 edition MMO Gaming Mouse as my daily driver now for a few years, but I found myself in need of a new mouse when the middle mouse button finally died; I had put multiple millions, if not tens of millions of clicks on each button. After transitioning now for a week, I have to say that while there are a few road bumps, I'm in love with the G600. I have fairly large hands, and with the Razer Naga I adjusted the side grip to the largest detachable grips which allowed me to palm the mouse in my and and kept my fingers from dragging on my Reflex Lab Huge Gaming Mouse Pad . The G600 does not fit my hand as well as the Naga, but it has not felt uncomfortable either, just different. In situations where I have to lift the mouse, the G600 feels heavier than my Naga did, but it has not noticeably affected my play style much regardless; when lifting the G600 however, I need to remove my ring finger from the G-Shift button and pinch the side of the mouse along with my pinky finger - Perhaps in time my muscle memory will adapt to lifting only with my pinky finger. The "G-Shift" button - found just right of the right-click button - was different for me also my first few days transitioning. As stated before, I used the large side mount on my Razer Naga; this allowed me to rest both my ring and pinky fingers on the mouse itself, and felt very ergonomic. I've started to become accustomed to the G-Shift button now after a week using the G600 as my daily driver, but it still feels foreign; in twitch environments, using any actions I've bound with the G-Shift modifier has felt more like a hindrance than not; I am sure that in time using the modifier key will become more natural, however. The G7 & G8 keys on top of the G600 are located where the Forward and Back buttons for the Naga were; On the G600, these defaultly swap your mouse profile and executes a "Shift+B" macro. The G600 does however have tilt buttons on either side of the mouse wheel where Back and Forward is defaultly bound. The duel-dish G9-G20 MMO keys on the side of the mouse feel wonderful, and adjusting to them from the Naga hasn't been very difficult at all. The raised indicators are in slightly different positions then were I was used to them being on the Naga - On the G600 one is placed on the bottom of the G13 (NUM 5) key, and the 2nd is placed at the top of the G16 (NUM 8) key. Having used the Razer Naga for so long, I'm surprised at how quickly I did pick up to the different key layout, and while I have a few misscliks rarely, they are becoming viewer and far between the more I use the G600. Negatives: I've however found that with the Logitech Gaming Software package, when the tilt wheel is used for Forward and Back, the software will accept one down depress of the tilt wheel, but respond with a double up rebound command; This means that when you press the tilt wheel into "Back", your web browser will go back 2 pages into history, instead of the desired one. The only way I have found to solve this issue is to rebind the tilt wheel commands to something completely different, save the profile, then rebind them back to Forward and Back. This has been frustrating, but simple to fix in the mean time; I have not let the software's performance reflect on my review, as it is not the hardware's fault - The switch is not physically rebounding, but the software is malfunctioning (version U77.02_B0017). In summery: The Logitech G600 has been preforming as well as my previous Razer Naga 2012 edition had, and for less than half the price. The Logitech Gaming Software package will allow you to customise your experience further, but it will also introduce a few bugs into the experience as well. All-in-all, it's a great product which I would highly suggest anyone debating over making the switch from a Naga to a G600 to take.

Update 11/19/2025 Seven years later, this G600 has developed the double click issue again. 7 years for a mouse feels like a great value, IT'S TOO BAD IT'S BEEN DISCONTINUED. I'm devastated, actually. Going to have to buy an overpriced version of it because it's out of stock everywhere now and I still think it's worth it. ---- The Logitech G600 was my first MMO mouse. It was revolutionary to my gameplay. I bought this mouse Dec 2012, right when I had started really getting into MMO's and found that a simple two key mouse was just not enough. I NEEDED TO PRESS MORE BUTTONS FASTER. I got this one because my computer set up is white and black, and the idea of a white mouse aesthetically appealed to me. As of Dec 2018, my mouse finally started failing me. To get an idea of how often I use it, I game every night. I play a mix of different MMO's and FPS's. The button program that comes with logitech works fine. I've never really had an issue with it. I love the ability to use the far right key to unlock yet another series of macros. However, I started noticing that holding down the left key no longer was smooth. It would stop triggering mid press and basically become a stutter. Imagine drawing a line straight across your screen. My line would be a series of dashes. Wasn't really noticeable in normal mouse usage, but in games, it was terrible. Six years out of a very well priced and solidly built mouse that brought tons of enjoyment to me? I'd say this is a great mouse. Just bought another one to replace it, didn't even consider buying a different one. I do want to note that a white mouse is a terrible idea. I bought the black one the second time, because even though I regularly clean mine, it's inevitable that with daily usage, your finger oils just discolor the white surface. Didn't effect the actual performance, just wasn't that great to look at after six years.

I had been using the Razer Naga for almost 2 years with nearly no troubles. But with time, I started to get the tell-tale double/triple clicking gremlin. I did take it apart and add a couple slivers of a utility razor blade onto the tabs that actuate the buttons (great DIY fix btw) and it continued to function fairly well. However, from then on the left and right mouse buttons would remain stuck in the clicked position until I pried up on the button itself to relieve the tension and it would work fine. I recently built a new pc and decided I'd get a dedicated mouse for that machine. Being I had a white case and blue LEDs, this mouse seemed like the best choice and I'm pretty pleased with it. In fact, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that it was a little pricey (then again, so was the Naga). The claims that the grid of buttons on the side being wobbly is pretty accurate coming from something like the Naga, which has very low action, hard buttons. The G600's buttons are more comfortable for me, having larger hands (actually the whole mouse feels better to me being that it is larger) but they are somewhat spongy, leading you to believe you had a clean button press when you hadn't occasionally, but within the 1st week that was gone. The on-the-fly profile switching is a pretty nice feature, though I dont really use it much. My favorite feature, which is worth 5 stars on its own, would be the 3rd mouse button, known as the G-Shift. I have always been a console gamer forced to invert the Y axis on every game, and so I could not play FPS games without a controller with inverted Y. Playing with a mouse/keyboard has always been awkward for me and though I've tried a few times over the years, I haven't had much luck. Until now. With the G-Shift button set to the DPI switch, I could at the click of one button, lower the DPI for much more precision aiming and now prefer the mouse/keyboard combo over the gamepad any day. I'd also like to add that I've been using the mouse for about a month now and I prefer it over the Naga completely. The larger size grip and footprint, button placement and G-Shift buttons make this little beast quite a nice performer, and for more than just MMO.

I am an electrical engineer and I used this mouse through my last two years of college and now at work. I've gotten a lot of complements on how fast I am able to do simple tasks and complements on the sleek look of the mouse. It is awesome for programming and just about everything else you could do in your day to day. Having 24 extra programmable buttons right at your thumb is great and makes tedious tasks much less frustrating. Copy, paste, select all, undo, redo, backspace, delete, enter, menu key, shift, control, arrow keys, etc. Zoom in & out, scroll left & right with one hand (Ctrl+scroll & shift+scroll) and work through spreadsheets/PDFs/documents/webpages with ease. All that and the thing lights up rgb. The Logitech software makes mapping the keys very easy and the mouse also has on-board memory. This allows you to use a key mapping when you plug it into a new computer without the Logitech software installed. 5 stars. I just bought a second one so I don't have to carry it around to and from work. Dropped it a fair amount of times in the process and it's still going strong. I have XL hands and it is very comfortable to use. The back of the mouse sits at about mid-palm and the rubber on the side for your pinky is great. The side buttons feel good and it is easy to feel what button you are clicking. The middle two buttons, G13 & G16, have a ridge on them like F&J on a keyboard. Whatever kind of plastic the mouse is made of feels great too. It doesn't feel too slimy or too rough. Another reviewer described it as almost like a chalkboard and I can agree with that. That might not be your style, but I like it more than any other mouse I've used. Overall I am very happy with this mouse and I hope it continues to work for a long time. It feels weird to use a computer without it now.

10-15-15 addition: If anyone is interested in what kind of company Logitech has become, read all of the replies to this post. Call the phone number they provide for customer support in one of the posts. They have discontinued phone support and are apparently trying to cover it up. Second post around 10-1-15. Changed to 1 star. Logitech no longer has phone support and has not responded to my request for more than 1 week other than the auto responses. I used to think of them as one of the better internet companies. No more. My first post when I thought Logitech was the premier company for mice and keyboards: So far, I may change this to 1 star. Waiting on Logitech for over 1 week to replace the mouse. The programmable buttons are outstanding. I have the G13 game pad on my left and the mouse on the right. I use at least 30 buttons hundreds of times a day I use the another 20 several times a day and still getting used to the rest. The mouse is a great idea for working in ACAD. All of my osnaps are programmed into the mouse plus several commands and the G13 runs lisp routines that I wrote. The mouse is not very good for a smooth, easy to use mouse. If not for the programmable buttons, I wouldn't use it at all. Jumpy, sticky, and just about every problem you can have with a very cheap mouse. I have it set to full speed and it is still too slow. I have the precision button set and when I slow down to click on something, the mouse jumps all over the place. Razer Naga is far better in that regard. The old programmable Kensington mouse still tops them all. They quit providing the programmable buttons so I stopped using their mouse.

I was expecting so much from this mouse. If I were a 15 year old girl this would've fit my hand perfectly. I am a man. This mouse is too small for me. It is very accurate and responsive. Better than the Death Adder IMO. I set it to 1000 for shooters. I tend to hit the G9 and the shift button (3rd mouse button) when I run into a dude around the corner. Had them set for knife and nade. I slashed. I threw. I died. So just beware that there are so many buttons that when you are surprised you will perform some macro magic instead of your primary. Setting up macros is tight. There was some other dude on Newegg or here that was talking about how this mouse would be great for AutoCAD. I agree and would add to that, 3dsMax and Photoshop. Clickers are weird and unlike other mice. Siruslee... Ergonomics is why I bought this mouse, but it isn't even close to as comfortable as the M570. If it were bigger then I think the design would've worked. I hold it straight in games for control but if I am just cruising around my comp I actually hold it in a way so that the mouse is angled to the left and my pinkie joint is sitting on the tail of the mouse. Moar comfort. 5/23/2014 Update: As I used the mouse more I got used to it and began to like it more. The macro function is much more powerful than I had originally thought. I don't game anymore, but this mouse is really useful for running other programs; I wouldn't use another mouse. Recently the mouse started acting up, the primary click button was double clicking. However, it cleared up and is now clicking normally. This is a typical problem with these mice, but with the 3-year warranty it shouldn't be too big of an issue. I still wish the mouse was larger. 8/1/2016 Update: Still works just fine. Great mouse. 5/5. Hand fit is still not ideal, but it's been reliable, and the software is excellent.

I don't really play MMOs but I loved the idea of having all of my number keys within reach of my thumb for quickly selecting items and weapons in games like Garry's Mod or Terraria so I decided to try this mouse out. This mouse is actually much smaller than I expected; I can use it easily on a rather small mouse mat. It feels comfortable, though a bit strange at first, in the hand. All of the buttons click nicely and the tilting mouse wheel is a neat feature that I actually find myself using quite a bit for various key bindings. But the reason you're buying this mouse is for all of those numbered side keys. It took me a few days to get used to using them properly, and even now after a week I'm still not completely there. It will take you a while to acclimate your hand and fingers to a mouse like this especially if you're coming from a simple mouse with five buttons like I am. That said, I'm already seeing the benefits of all of those side keys. In games like Dishonored I'm able to select my desired weapon or ability much faster than by using the scroll wheel or keyboard number keys. As for the so-called G shift ring finger key, I never really use it. I simply don't really have a need for it in any games that I've played yet. Still, its nice to know its there and it does make a rather comfortable rest for the finger. Unlike some reviewers have said, I never find myself accidentally clicking this button when I don't mean to, but I can see it being an issue for some people. Fortunately Logitech included a great software control program for this mouse. You can set up different profiles and customize the function of all of those extra keys. You can also change the LED colors, which is a nice touch. I am starting to really love this mouse. I tried to go back to my old mouse and it just felt so bare bones and simple that I just couldn't use it. I think that if any PC gamer, not just those who play MMOs, is going to love this mouse. Just be prepared to spend a few days getting used to all of its features.

O mouse possui bom acabamento, boa pegada, meio fosco, cabo trançado. É meio grande e desajeitado no começo mas sem problemas para adaptação. Apesar do tamanho é muito leve, e como venho de um g502 a experiência inicial foi estranha. Possui muitos botões macro e eles se duplicam quando utilizado o botão adicional com intuito de modificar as configurações. O RGB é ok, é daquele tipo não endereçável, ou seja você não pode escolher a cor do botões um a um, apenas do conjunto inteiro e os efeitos são limitados mas pelo menos existem para ajudar a usar o mouse no escuro. Os botões possuem formatos variados para - tentar - facilitar a distinção entre eles. A experiência geral é boa mas gostaria que fosse um pouco mais pesado.

Me encantó el producto, al principio me costó un poco acostumbrarme a tantos botones, pero ahora ya me parece indispensable. La único malo es que justo al pasar un año, comenzó a fallar. Primero comenzó a fallar el clic izquierdo, ya no se podía mantener presionado porque a pesar de estarlo presionando, el botón registraba como si lo soltara y volviera a presionar, con lo que tareas simples como arrastrar archivos o carpetas se volvía complicado, ya que se soltaban antes de tiempo (en medio movimiento). Luego se compuso solo y volvió a funcionar normalmente; después comenzó a fallar el clic de la ruedita para hacer scroll. En este caso muchas veces no registraba que estuviera presionando la ruedita, y tenía que hacerlo con más fuerza para que se registrara el clic. También de repente hay días que funciona normalmente (el clic de ruedita), pero nuevamente el clic izquierdo está presentando el mismo problema de antes (que a pesar de tenerlo presionado, el botón registra como si yo lo soltara). Así que ahora, tras un año con 17 días desde el primer día de uso, ya no funcionan correctamente el clic izquierdo ni la ruedita. He leído otros comentarios en los que usuarios mencionan que a ellos les funcionó perfecto durante hasta diez años, pero no es mi caso. Y en cuanto a problemas de limpieza, dudo que sea el caso ya que no estoy en un lugar donde haya tantísimo polvo o tierra, y además siempre que termino de usarlo, lo guardo en un cajón para evitar que se esté llenando del poco polvo que pudiera haber.

Grundsätzlich passt hier alles, was bei der Redragon fürchterlich ist - gute Beschichtung, Tasten sind gut nutzbar. Aber leider schon nach 1 Woche ein klackendes Geräusch bei jeder Bewegung. Da habe ich mehr erwartet für den Preis von Logitech...

L'articolo mi è arrivato in 8 giorni, che a mio avviso non è propio il massimo. Il prodotto mi è arrivato con uno dei click diffettoso, è traballante e risulta molto difficile da premere il che non è normale per un mouse nuovo. Anche perchè è il secondo g600 che ho tra le mani e non aveva questo tipo di problema. Per farla peggio il venditore non ha resi gratuiti e non sostituisce il prodotto, la devo pagare io la spedizione e mi rimborsano il totale dopo adirittura 7 giorni. Assolutamente insoddisfatto, non consiglio.
