If you paid 500 for a "name brand" card, you paid too much.
Besides the fan whine at high speed, this card is every bit as capable of it's more expensive "big name" cousins. I actually rather like that it's only a double wide as apposed to a triple and the stock cooling works just fine for avg persons need. Even under full load I didn't experience temps above 75c. After disabling the power limiters and beginning to overclock above stock boost, yes I experienced some thermal throttling under full load. All in all I cannot think of a better valued balanced bang for your buck card in the AMD 6000 lineup. The 6500 has only x4 bandwidth and a limited 4gb of memory which seems tragic because it's got one of the best performing chipsets dollar for dollar in the bunch. The 6600 accommodates the vram issue at 8gb and has a larger x8 bus but painfully underpowered processor and ram. For only a tad extra you can get this 6700 which has the ample 12gb of high performance memory anyone could need, an x12 bandwidth (192-bit), an outstanding chip that's boosts to 2500 stock, and of course, the luxurious infinity cache. I want that cache slapped on everything. A 7900xd paired with 2 of these bad boys, I'm still trying to find something capable of pushing it to and beyond it's limit. For another 70 dollars(still cheaper than the price of the next "big name" GPU maker, I was able to acquire an aftermarket AIO liquid vga cooler and install it almost shockingly easily (my first time attempting such a thing) and now I am experiencing 20-30c decreases in temp. 0 thermal throttling, cannot seem to push it over 55c. Plus it like looks really freaking cool now with the aftermarket cooler appointments. Do yourself a favor, remember that more money does not always mean better. Look at the hard data, and then see if there's a workaround the make the lesser serve for the more. For the price, this card is unbeatable. If the noise bothers you, fan kits are cheap and easy. If you're gonna push it to the max, all the time, you're probably already familiar with liquid cooling and planning for this need. This was my first purchase from power color, barring an unforeseen catastrophe in product lifespan, it will not be my last. Seriously I saw a couple cards with the exact same specs going for nearly double the price all for double the useless gimmicky features. I like machines to perform first, become a nightlight and sing me to sleep second. Please note that this picture was taken after the aftermarket cooler was installed and that the LCD display reads "CPU temp" not "GPU temp"

Used model better than I expected. Runs Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 with 40-60FPS on 1440p
I was pleasantly surprised to see this card run MSFS2020 with totally usable refresh rates.I'm new to AMD Video cards and not fully familiar with Adrenaline SW setup yet. First use today. This 6700XT seems to work really well with V-Sync On(No tearing), limited to max monitor refresh rate. It MSFS2020 Detects a Max Dell monitor refresh rate of 60HZ instead of 75Hz it's capable of.I (think) I got MSFS2020 to even use FSR2.0 successfully. I thought MSFS only supported DLSS so far. A Pleasant surprise. The Best thing is the price. $309 for a used item that looks like brand new. It worked really well on a $129 R5-Matisse-3600+Asus-MB combo from Microcenter. 3600 does not seem to bottleneck the GPU at 1440p as the GPU is 99% busy on Ultra settings.6700XT max power is 185W normal, and 200W while overclocked. R5 3600 Max CPU Package was 75W.My 10 year old OCZ PSU had two cables: 1 x 8 and 1x6. Perfect for this card. Did not have 2 x 8pin cables as on other GPU models.I've only used this 6700xT a couple of hours now. It worked so well I wanted to share the good news ASAP.Unigine Heaven 4.0 results in photo. Not sure how it compares to other 6700XT models as was not able to easily find the results online. Please share where to find them if you know. This PC is naturally slower than than my 12600K with Asus TUF 3080 12GB PC but while flying, I can't really tell the difference, unless over a city with a lot of buildings (like New York), all while consuming much less power (~275W) than the 3080 alone (354W).This is totally an underrated card, esp. that newer games do not work well with cards that have less memory than the 12G on this 6700XT.Card Temp around 76C while gaming. Junction max temp got up to 99C. I changed the FAN profile in MSI Afterburner to make the fans run more aggressively (they got louder but no problem with music from simulator). Max GPU Junction Temp then dropped below 95C. With FSR2.0, the max GPU utilization drops significantly below 99%.This GPU looks like a keeper. Will let my son put it thru its paces next using Minecraft max settings on 1440P, minus Ray Tracing, which he prefers not to use even on the 3080 12GB.
