I enjoyed this book so much! We love a man who reads books and is also i badass at sports and Liam is just that. I thought him and Sophie’s friendship stint was a little long but that also doesn’t mean i didn’t enjoy it. The tension and the build up was worth it, Thor chemistry was off the charts and the story was cute. I for sure cried in a couple spots because my heart broke him and his brother about Johanna but all worked out in the end. I’ve loved every book in the Dirty Air series and this is no exception🤍

Generally not my fav but still a great book.
I will be honest in saying I did not like this book as much as the first one during the bulk of the story. It felt too similar with tropes and character issues. This book’s timeline is the same as book one so there is a lot of overlap. I was constantly trying to remember what happened in the first book and compare the timeline and stories to this one. That was a struggle for me. But looking at this book by itself I think Lauren did a pretty good job with developing the characters. I struggled with Sophie at times bc she was portrayed as a girl who lives on structure but has a spontaneous wild side but I felt like she didn’t always express that wild side enough or true to who she is. I loved when she finally stood up to her dad and had real conversations. And Liam was just tragic. It was definitely a different take on the traditional “I have a screwed up past so now I just sleep around and don’t know how to commit” bc his issues stemmed from losing a friend rather than a lover or bad parental examples of love. It honestly made it less believable for me and I struggled with how long it took him to snap out of it. The HEA part was well done and I liked the way it wrapped up overall. I wish Lauren has included more of how they made Sophie’s art therapy work with her traveling with him during the F1 season. Generally not my fav but still a great book.

Okay
It was okay. I don’t know why this series is not hitting me the way the first two books in the Dreamland Billionaire did. Those two books were great. This story is just okay for me. Too often I was just bored with it. Perhaps I have been reading too many contemporary romance this year, this books is the same story but with different names and profession

i tried to finish this book as fast as i could because it was starting to put me in a reading slump. just like throttled, this book was a re-read as well.ok so basically, during most of the book, i loved liam. he was funny, caring and just the type of person you love having as a friend. sophie however was kinda annoying. i can see why she would not want to risk her friendship just to sleep with liam, i wouldn't want that either. but she comes up with a to do list of things she wants to try but doesn't try to find someone to help her complete them. she doesn't want to do them with a stranger but at the same time refuses every time liam offers help.in the end of the book, it's the opposite. liam pisses me off when he asks sophie not to ruin their friendship for something as stupid and temporary as love. yes, i know losing johanna killed a part of him, but that doesn't mean he can just say that to her. and sophie, stood up for herself and refused to let him win. she would not let him hurt her more.in the end it was pretty great, but not enough to be my favourite in the series.

The Perfect Sequel to Throttled
It’s been a while since I had picked up the Dirty Air Series, so with F1 season in full swing, I decided to finish Collided. Once I picked it up, I was giving myself the worst talking to for waiting so long to start this book. I fell in love with Liam’s wit in Throttled, so I was so excitedto read his story & Sophie’s.I knew that Sophie wouldn’t be the typical rich man’s daughter and Liam did, too, which was why he was attracted to her. Sophie’s struggle of doing what she wants versus doing what others want is something that about 93% of the human population deals with, making her story more relatable.Liam’s backstory may come across as the typical “I’ve been hurt before” ordeal, but his type of hurt is something that not too many people compare their hurt and emotions to. If you loved Noah and Maya's story, Sophie and Liam's will only make you fall in love with the characters even more. Heartbreaking, heartwarming, and overall full of life.By the end of Chapter 1, I was crying and at the start of Chapter 2, I was laughing. It was one of those books where you root for the main character and they make you so mad, you question if rooting for them is worth it. My answer….yes.Compared to “Throttled,” this was a mid-paced book, meaning that things went fast and then simmered down and then sped up and then slowed all the way down before picking up again. I loved it! It’s also a nice and easy read if you want a mix of romance and a little bit of ✨spice✨

Definitely my favorite so far of the series!! I'm sure I'll be saying that again.
4.75/5⭐️ • 🌶️🌶️.5/5Definitely my favorite so far of the series!!What are the chances I’ll be saying that again😂No but seriously I love Liam and Sophie! I see so much of myself in Sophie like her mannerisms and attitude I can relate to it so much. Then Liam… I love a good bad boy reformed book but this has got to be my favorite I’ve read so far. The challenges they went through it felt so realistic but done so well you can understand why the characters were the way they were. I am absolutely in love with this series and wish I would have read it sooner because I am missing out on some good stuff here!

Banter and Heart
What made this book great other than a bang up story, were the characters. Liam and Sophie were two people who were at crossroads in their lives and couldn’t get themselves out of their way. Liam although a World Champion F1 driver, was denying his feelings about how a tragedy really affected him. Hiding behind his playboy image. Sophie was hiding from her own happiness. Sacrificing her own for others happiness. Together they helped each other realize what they were missing. This banter between these two was so sassy and fun. I loved it. So happy to see them get their HEA after all they had been through.

F1 Racing may be my new favourite sport.
Omg the F1 racers are stealing my heart! Liam reformed bad boy ways and dirty talking gave me life! I loved Liam and Sophie’s relationship evolution from friends to lovers (I don’t usually enjoy this trope so I was pleasantly surprised). I even liked how the third act drama played out. The idea of Sophie making a bucket list is something I would totally do. And the spice had me melting 🥵🫠. I did enjoy this better then the first and makes me excited to continue the series!

amazing
the Dirty air series books are so incredible. I’ve read all of them, and every time i finished one of them my words are “this is the best, period” but the thing is that they are all so damn good. Thank you Lauren, this stories in the F1 are so original and well structured. I fell in love with all the characters.

Great Read
I really enjoyed reading this book and entering the Dirty Air world again. Another great read from Lauren Asher. She is definitely one of my most favourite authors. I always know what I'm going to get from her when I read one of her books.
