Digs plant holes in earth that was hard as a rock and totally undiggable before I bought this auger bit. I’m very happy with it. My wife is ecstatic that she can plant in places that were previously unavailable. Make sure you don’t adjust your drill’s torque too high. If you do, and you hit a snag, you could twist your arm and cause significant damage. I highly recommend this product.

Makes planting Much easier. I live in an area with clay and caliche soil. These work well for most holes I've needed to dig and at least start larger holes. The large bit also worked well for mixing dry dog food (mixing types of food for picky eaters). I use a Ryobi 18V 1/2" drill.

Works great for my lilly bulbs this spring. Not as heavy duty as my last one, but it works for bulbs and maybe my husband won't use it to mix concrete and ruin it like my heavy duty bulb drill.

. I used all of the augers in soft ground with my 18 volt cordless Milwaukee drill . They all did what they were supposed to do. , I you plan to drill a lot of holes with the 4-in auger I would recommend a bigger drill . That auger had my drill run pretty hot after two or three holes.

Worked excellent at the beach for pre drilling holes for our umbrella. Would highly recommend for that use. Even drilled through the tougher sand vehicles compacted.

Excellent for drilling holes for bird house poles but you must take it slow.

A friend told me about these, and it makes bulb planting super-easy! We put in a new garden at the house and planted about 100 bulbs. I'm glad I had this.
