Great soft shell
!Attention! Summit/ Summit Zero differences First off, don't make the mistake I made. If you're looking for a coat to wear in colder climate conditions, you're probably looking for the Condor Summit, as the Summit has the fleece lining and I believe reinforced elbows/arms. If you're wanting something a little lighter, the Condor Summit Zero will work for you. I was wanting a shell for the harsh Alaska winters. I made the mistake of ordering the Summit Zero. However, I have still fallen in love with this coat and it serves it's purpose well keeping me warm and dry during the low summer Temps. To be honest, it does well below freezing as well if you use layers under this coat. Sizing: Sizing runs a little smaller than expected. I am 6ft and 185lbs. I would usually wear a large, however, after trying on my buddies Summit, I ordered an XL and don't regret it one bit. The XL fit my taller build. Most of my issues when deciding on coats is either a XL is to bulky in the chest/waist yet the arm length fits well, or a Large fits my body, but the arm length is to short. If you are taller, longer arms, go a size bigger. You won't regret it. This coat is light wait, has plenty of pockets for any and all needs. Something to note, the chest pockets are large enough to fit a small pistol(in my case, a Ruger LC9 and 9mm shield). Has great hood tension adjustments to pull your hood back and give you better peripheral vision, as well as great internal neck stow away with zipper. A total of 8 pockets, 2 pockets on biceps(also moral patch velcro here), 2 larger pockets on chest, 2 pockets internal chest, 1 pocket on the left forearm, 1 "game" pocket on rear with two entries from either side. Quality of stitching is great. Overall, this is a great "medium" weather shell, and a favorite of mine. As mentioned, if you layer under this, it will perform as well as the Summit.

Nice dtuff, sold on Condor Outdoor.
This is my 6th piece of Condor outerwear purchased. 3 Alpha micro fleece jackets, a Sierra fleece, the Core soft shell vest they released recently and now this Summit Zero shell. The Core vest and the 'Zero fit the same and appear to use the same fabric. They are both fairly snug in the chest/torso, the 'Zero has rather generous sleeve length and both come down the hip - or just above the bottom of a slash front pocket opening. Some experimentation size-wise was needed at first. The Alpha fleece jacket in XL was too big. But works with a heavy sweater under. The other two Alphas I got sized to wear over a T-shirt and are both mediums. Sleeve length is OK as streetwear but to use the thumb slashes, the sleeves are a bit over a inch short. As mentioned, the Core vest, Sierra fleece and Summit Zero are all larges and are the best fit for me. I'm just under six feet, ~185 lbs.The vest and 'Zero and Sierra are all cut longer in back like a shirt tail. Reminds me of cycling gear and would double pretty well as mountain biking apparel. The vest and 'Zero shell use a different finer toothed YKK zipper than the Alphas and I think it will be more durable. IMO, Condor's gear is well made with good quality materials and design while offering excellent value for the price.

Best Tactical Jacket for the Money Hands Down!
This is an awesome jacket. The quality is outstanding. I originally purchased a 511 Sabre tactical jacket for well over $200. It was no where near the quality of this jacket and a size large fit like a child size small. I returned it and after reading reviews ordered this jacket. I could not be happier. I usually take a large, but went for the XL and it fits perfectly. It's plenty warm and comfortable even on fairly cold days by just adding a layer underneath like a sweatshirt or fleece. At first I wasn't digging that it doesn't have lower side pockets to put my hands in but after the first day of wearing it, I really didn't even notice. There are a number of pockets and I like that the side pockets have a cell phone pocket inside. I'm ex Air Force and like to display the patches of squadrons I served with on the Velcro loop patches on the sleeve. They are easily big enough to fit a US Flag and unit/squadron patch on either arm. I've only had this jacket a week and have already received several compliments on how good it looks and inquiries on where it can be purchased.

The jacket is worth every penny.
Size medium. 5'10 /170lbs So, there's a lot of talk about the fit of this jacket. I think a lot of the guys that are unhappy with the sizing are probably heavier set. I'm average, 5'10" 170lbs with a healthy diet and looking lifestyle. My big issue with jackets is sleeve length (often too short) to torso ratio. This jacket is slim in the fit - it's not a square, so it tapers down at the waist, perfect. The sleeve length is bang on. The jacket material itself is great, waterproof, windproof, more pockets than you can imagine. I lose my keys in them all the time. And/But (in black) it can match to most clothes. There are vent holes in the arm pit area too help with heat. It's a great jacket, I will be wearing this as my daily driver. It does look tactical with the patch area of the sleeve, so there's that. There is a bit of room in the torso area, so if you just ate a huge meal or are wearing a thick sweater, you'll be fine.

This jacket looks nice better than picture. One thing to that not mentioned in review online is how much this jacket taper at the bottom . I order size large and chest (Just below armpit) circumference 45.5 in and at bottom it’s about 41.5 inches . It’s still fits me well but if I had more of a belly this would fit me . I am 5f 10in and 195 lbs . It’s made in China , the fabric has some stretch to it and so far it has been pretty waterproof . Just own this for 6 weeks . Overall good good quality for price . Hope this review is helpful to you

Great lightweight softshell tactical jacket! Awesome gear to have for ever-changing wet BC weather. Everything works great; lots of handy pockets, the hood looks awesome on and can be easily stored in the collar. Main zipper is quite stiff and doesn't like to come off or go up sometimes. Tons of room if you need to layer for extra warmth. You can't go wrong with this jacket. I got Summit jacket which is warmer jacket with fleece lining inside for my father and he loves it. Much warmer and heavier jacket for fall through winter. I'd love to get the multicam ones but they are 100 dollars more because of the trademarks apparently accordibg to the seller. Good delievery, I would have given it a full five stars but there was a surprise fees for duties and taxes. When I asked the seller why didn't I get notified about it when I was checking out, they told me if I don't want to pay the duties and taxes then I should simply refuse the package.
