UPDATE: (11/20/17)I've used the 10 ft cable just about every night by just plugging/unplugging my phone before bed, and from that use, the cable has stopped working completely. The shorter black cable has been stored in my car (barely used) but the metal wire is exposed where the actual charging component disconnected from the wire. (yikes) The second (white) shorter white cable has also been used about once a week but has given me no problems so far. Although the price is cheap, these haven't held up as well as a couple of other (very similar) lightning chargers I've had. Overall, however, I still think it's a good value for what you get.Original Review:These are advertised as certified, but about 3 weeks after purchasing, I Started to get the "Charging is not supported with this accessory" messages, and at one point it said a couple times that the cable I had connected was not certified and could cause damage or something like that. That's only happened a few times however, so other than that I'm happy. They aren't the most durable chargers, but for the money I think it's worth it, just as long as you don't care whether or not they're MFI certified.

These types of items are the biggest scam in the world!. We all need them but they never last long.

Purchased the 2-pack white/blue July 2014. It's Sept 2015 and both cables are still working great.The white one went to my 17 yr old son and is looking a little worn, but no performance issues. I use the blue one daily to charge my iPad Air, iPhone 5, and iPhone 5S. It still looks and works like new.- 1 star because the lightening adapter on the blue cable is considerably wider than the original Apple cable. It won't fit with a Lifeproof case. Adapter on white cable is smaller, almost identical to original Apple cable.

These ARE NOT "MFI Apple Certified" cables! They barely work. I'm an I.T. Professional, so I'm very adept with tech such as this... and I'm extremely disappointed that these Lightning Cables were advertised as "MFI CERFIEID" yet they're clearly NOT! Because they DO NOT WORK with ANY kind of FEMALE USB EXTENDER! Not only that; but they DON'T allow DATA transfer, only exceedingly LOW power output. It takes 8-10 hours to fully charge my iPhone 6S Plus with these crappy cables; As with a normal Apple certified cable: it only takes an hour or so!You can't use ANY USB extenders with these cords which basically DEFEATES the purpose of being able to stretch out your wires to reach further while plugged in!I demand a refund for this trash.

"The white one is stiffer than the blue one but it isn't a problem. They both work great and charge my phone as good as the apple brand. Perfect length. I don't get any notifications on my phone saying it is unauthorized. I would recommend this product."That ^^ was my original review and my opinion has changed drastically since then. The white cord stopped working all together. When I contacted the company for a return they wanted me to send both of them back. Since I split the package with a friend I no longer have that. I am very disappointed that the cord stopped working in the first place and extremely irritated that the company can't make returns simpler. I would not recommend this product to anybody after my recent experience.

I've had the cables for a couple of weeks now and they are working just fine. With a family of 4 iphones, we can never have too many power cords. The apple ones just don't seem to have a thick enough cover of the wires and they wear out pretty quickly. These seem to be pretty sturdy and I have faith they will last at least twice as long as the apple ones.

I use these cables to charge an iPhone 5S. I have an Otterbox Defender Series case on my iPhone and the cable works just fine with the case on. The charge time is as fast as the cable that came with the phone. The extra length is a the reason I bought this cable and have been completely satisfied with the results.
