Koah Weatherproof Hard Case with Customizable Foam (18 x 14 x 7 Inch)

Every bit as good as a Pelican and a lot cheaper. I bought this for my large frame pistol setup, which consists of a frame with light, slides and mags in 10mm and 45acp, accessories, and tools. It holds everything in a nice arrangement. It seems every bit as sturdy and waterproof as a Pelican and I have no doubt that its contents are extremely well protected. The latches give a satisfying click when they close and the lid stays very tight. The case also includes holes for padlocks and a vent. Even with all that, the case isn’t too thick and is a manageable size. Finally, with any case like this comes setup. The pluck and pull foam was really easy to get into the shapes I needed. The case is deep, so I did have to cut in half and reinsert the pieces I pulled out to get everything sitting nice and level with the surface of the foam, but all that took was a pair of meat scissors. When I’m confident that I’m 100% done setting up the case, I’ll use some Wilsonart water based contact cement to lock the modified inserts permanently in place. This is a top quality case at a much better price than the competition. I’ll be buying more of these cases.

This has been worth every dollar! I live in my car and it can get humid from breathing and this has kept all my important electronics safe from that as well as the elements and everything else! It’s great quality, the plastic is thick and well put together, it’s a little big but that’s the price you pay to fit all your things and have them safely secured in foam! It looks like a gun case so keep that in mind when walking around with it, that hasn’t been a problem nor bothered me. It’s easy to use and fits a ton of stuff and can fit more if you cut the bottom foam to fit anything else you’d like (in my case my headset). This is my entire mobile console setup (minus the power supply) which includes: 1xbox series s, 1xbox controller, 1 Xbox headset,1charging station for the controller, 1 storage expansion card, 2usb transmitters, 1xbox power cable, 1retractable hdmi cable, 1hdmi-mini hdmi attatchment, 2 usb c cables, and 1 acer portable screen :). Great case using this for a cyber deck build. it is watertight and plenty of room the foam was kind of dry if that makes sense I'm not using the foam so it doesn't bother me that's the only bad part, but I plan on buying more

Strong heavy plastic. Have not tested waterproof but confident it will least keep the rain out. Enough room for my 17.3 laptop and all the accessories including the power supply, sound bar, and mini inverter for car. Probably totally overkill for a laptop case but those sleeves would not seem to protect anything although they all claim to. Pretty sure the laptop in this case would out-survive me in an accident now. Whoever complained about latches must had some bad ones because these seem sturdy and just slightly on the stiff side to operate would not want them any loser or easier. Using as luggage to carry laptop not daily to carry into the office. Added back the one star love this case. If anything overkill for my purposes but has kept my laptop safe on road trips and camping. Cheaper alternative to pelican. Very sturdy well contructed case. 2023 *over a year now update going strong latches crisp and strong. highly recomend.

I’m not sure if this case would withstand multiple airplane flights, but considering its price and the quality of materials used, it exceeds my expectations. I already have Pelican cases for my most expensive and delicate electronic camera equipment. This case is specifically designed for me to carry my pistols and ammunition from my car to the gun range. Additionally, the foam material was easy to customize, which is a great feature. I would definitely buy another case to protect my belongings.

I’m glad I took the chance on this product. It’s light enough for me to carry for short periods but I wouldn’t want to lug it around for long. It works great, the foam was easy to work with, having the extra foam at the bottom and top, gives me confidence that my equipment is safe. It’s large and has plenty of space for large equipment or a bunch of small stuff like I do. It feels and looks like it’s extremely durable as long as I don’t throw it or drop it multiple times. The design of it looks like all the other ones but I like it. My husband has more expensive ones and there’s definitely a difference but I’m not carrying anything heavy. The case has a dial that allows different amount of air in depending on your humidity needs. Also, it has the ability to place a lock on it.

Customizable foam has pre-cut squares, making it easy to custom fit whatever you are storing. Good value for the price.

Well-constructed medium-size case which will be used for my camera equipment. Very good depth of customisable foam with good extra layers above and below. Solid protective shell with easy to use and very secure snap latches. I like that it's dust and waterproof and the pressure valve is a clever idea. Slightly heavier than I thought it would feel, but still very easy to carry. For extra security you could fit padlocks at the front. Very pleased with this well-made case. It arrived much earlier than expected too!
