best sports romance I’ve read
Okay, this has been on my bookshelf for about a year and wow, I’m so glad i read it. I only starting reading sports romances last year, and hockey is the only sport I’ve read and I do love it. But this, might be the best sports romance I’ve ever read. The sport is actually evident throughout the entire book, I felt like I was on the race track, I knew nothing about racing before and it definitely wasn’t a thing for me, but wow. I feel like the story was enhanced because of how well written the entire theme, being F1 racing, was throughout the entire book. Everything else I’ve read is just the romance with a side of the sport, this was so well written and the story kept me wanting more. I didn’t get bored at any point, and I kept wanting to know where the race and season was going to go next. I also love that this wasn’t just a fall in love within 2 weeks kind of romance, this was an entire year, with all the ups and downs, which gave time for a lot of personal growth and development to occur. The characters are a chef kiss, I loved the sass and banter, the relationships and friendships built. I understood and related to Maya so much in not knowing what comes after college and wanting to have time to figure herself out and make mistakes. Super well written and truly beautiful!

really cute ending felt rush
I enjoyed the characters a lot. Noah’s development is 10/10. Towards the end though it felt like it was rushed and there wasn’t much of the story left to tell

Fun and Sweet
~ Throttled by Lauren Asher⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶🌶Another fun read by Lauren Asher. This read like a movie. I've had this on my TBR for a while and I'm so happy I picked it up. This was a fun read with the great banter between Noah and Maya. Lauren Asher has this talent for writing such lovable characters and you cant help but want to see all of them get their happy ending. ♥️Book Contains:- Secret Relationship- Brothers Rival- Forbidden Love- Friends to Lovers- F1 Racing

Swoon worthy!
Throttled is a enemies to lovers, brothers rival, slow burn romance with no third act break up. This story pulled me all the way around the race track. I was cheering for this couple from the beginning and loved getting to experience the race from rivals, to begrudgingly friends, to lovers. Highly recommend!

Fast, exciting, unpredictable... what's not to love about Formula 1?
"Hi, this is Maya. Do you copy?""Hi, this is Noah. I copy."I've read this series earlier in the year and I still find myself thinking about these books months later, specifically Wrecked and Redeemed. However, Throttled provided a wonderful introduction to the Dirty Air Series and I enjoyed it.Son of a prominent racing legend, Noah Slade is an unstoppable force on the race circuit. Santiago Alatorre's little sister, Maya, is following him around the world as he starts his F1 journey racing for Bandini as Noah's new teammate and rival. Despite being off-limits, Maya knew there was an instant attraction between the two as their forbidden romance unfolds.I enjoyed the slow build-up between Noah and Maya, and watching their chemistry progressed in different stages. Both of them knew they were clearly attracted to one another, but didn't want to cross that line. The tension in this story is sky high and I was dying from it till the first kiss happened.Noah's character progression was so good. He gradually went from F1's bad boy to a softie over Maya! Is this the same man that went to therapy to better himself and sort out all his personal feelings for her? Yes! Maya's love for her family is the one thing that has been missing from his life, and it makes him want a life he never even considered. After learning about his relationship with his parents, I felt so bad for him and understood outlook on life. I found Maya to be super relatable and easy to identify with. She's determined to find her purpose while travelling with Santi, and it turns out to be vlogging and going behind the scenes of F1. She's sweet, feisty, and wouldn't settle for less.I did cringe at a few scenes here and there, but I'll give it a pass since it was Lauren's debut novel. I loved seeing the McCoy boys, Jax and Liam, and Sophie. I have no complaints with all the characters, bringing the story (and the rest of the series) to life. I also liked how she explained every aspect of F1 so that readers who aren't familiar with it could get the full picture.

Great characters and great story
Never heard of Formula 1 (don’t hate not a sports person) but this book is great. I have the others in the series in my cart for the next round of purchases

Sim….

A good read!
The story was a mix of all the worthwhile emotions starting from fun to heartbreak. Maya and Noah are the best kind of trouble that are perfect in ways beyond description. They have thousands of reasons to not give in to the simmering attraction they find difficult to contain but at the end of the day love knows no boundaries. Noah did mess up initially but that man actually knows how to make up for it. Maya's bold attitude and Noah's flirting are the highlights of the book. A good read!

what a great book!
This book was utter perfection! The storyline and plot weren't rushed and were kept in a nice place throughout. Everything about this book was perfect for me.I think my only critiqued be that I wish the book was longer as I absolutely fell in love with Naoh and Maya! Will definitely be reading the rest of the books in this series.
