What is the recommended speed for these bits?

None of these bits are large diameter cutters so Iyou can use the high speed setting. This chart might be helpful. it's what I go by. Bit Diameter Maximum Speed Up to 1 inch 24,000 rpm 1 to 2 inches 18,000 rpm 2 to 2-1/2 inches 16,000 rpm 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 inches 12,000 rpm

Can this router bit be used on rocks?

Absolutely not! A router can spin at speeds of up to 25,000 rpm. Even though these are carbide and a tough material the end result of using them on stone would undoubtedly yield delamination of the carbide edges, flying bits of high speed metal and pieces of rock. Attempting to use these on rock could result in serious injury or even death. These are manufactured to shape WOOD!!! Perhaps you can find some type of grinder attachment which would allow you to alter stone but don't use these bits for that purpose.

Do these bits all have ball-bearing guides? It doesn't mention that anywhere.

I have not used all of them yet, but all the ones that I have used approximately 50% of them all did . did not pay attention if others did or not.

What is the best way to sharpen the bit?

The preservation method is different for everyone. For example, I use precision flat stones on the surface and edges, and a sheet of 2000 grit W&D sandpaper on the precision granite surface.
