I love the Essie gel series of nail polish. This pale pink color is just what I was looking for for summer. The polish goes on smoothly with no clumping. The color isn't completely opaque but it gives good coverage, a smooth texture, and a durable gel like finish that will last. I use a base coat, 2 coats of polish, and 2 coats of topcoat. I keep my hands out of water for at least 8 hours. It has a shiny finish that does not dull or chip. My manicures usually last for a week. And that is with cleaning and working where I frequently wash my hands.

Love the color, love that they are a gel that doesn’t need a UV light. I put two coats on and it looks like a French manicure with the whites of natural nails! Will definitely purchase again.Lasts more than a couple weeks. I’ve had no chipping. Easy application, consistency is normal. Just be sure coat 1 is dry before applying another. It can take a bit longer to dry, I’m guessing due to it being more gel.

I honestly wasn't expecting much, as I've tried so many different brands and types of polish as they all let me down within a couple days. But this stuff is awesome. This is rock the runway red and the picture is about 4 full days in and I am rough on my nails. I am always cleaning and my hands are in water so much. There's just a couple tiny chips that can easily be touched up. Best part is, there's absolutely no cracking!!!! I have never had polish that didn't crack before. This is 2 coats of color and 1 of the same brand top coat. I am totally done with my nails and they are completely dry in 1 hour! The top coat is amazing and dries the tacky polish almost instantly. I love this polish. I also purchased a different color red and 2 different pinks and they are all wonderful.

I love this nail polish. The color is great and it lasts longer than regular nail polish. Easy to apply and it does not require an UV nail lamp.My only complaint is that after a few days you can see some cracks under the top coat. Still a great product!

I’ve used Essie polish for 20+ years. From the regular to Expressie, to their various topcoats, base coats, glitters, cuticle oils, and gel polishes, I’ve tried it all.This polish is not worth $12/bottle. This specific polish chips off within a day.Base coat, two coats of color, and the gel top coat, it chips off.In fact, if you use the gel topcoat as a base coat you can actually just peel the full nail’s worth of polish off.This does not have the longevity of an authentic gel manicure.Second, as you can see from the photos, it stains — bad. This is the worst my nails have ever been stained by a nail polish and I had it on for five days.The only places it didn’t stain are the spots I peeled off.This is after two rounds of pure acetone polish remover. I’m a huge fan of reds — my all time favorite Essie polish is Clambake or Really Red. THEY don’t even stain this bad.I have no idea how to get this off my nails and will probably repaint them with something lighter while this grows out.For how much it costs & the fact that I’m throwing it in the garbage after one use, I expect better from Essie. This definitely has me rethinking any more vibrant colors.

I love this Gel Couture nail polish. It stays on for at least a week without chipping, as long as your nails aren’t breaking near the ends. I found it difficult to remove with my normal nail polish remover the first time, but after buying 100% acetone yesterday, it came off like a breeze. The first picture is with three coats of colour and the top coat. The second picture is with two coats of colour and the top coat - I prefer the second one. Am looking into getting a milky white colour as well. For at home nails, I won’t buy another brand for now.
