Is this carabiner uiaa certified? one reviewer claims that the picture is not the same model as the text listing. thank you.

In Europe the EN and UIAA standards are generally identical however because this is the black version (tactical) Petzl has the item certified to professional standards. The Screwlock H Frame Carabiner meets CE EN 362, EAC. It is 27kN on the long axis, 8kN on the minor axis, and 7kN with gate open. The standard color of the item which is identical is certified to CE EN 12275, UIAA. So the short answer to the question is that the black is not UIAA certified but that is only because it is the professional version of the non black which does have the UIAA certification.

How mini kn is this carabiner

This particular carabiner is rated at 25 kN along the spine, and 7 to 8 kN across the gate.

Is the one size the triact lock type ?

What is in the picture is triact I ordered it and that is what I got.

Asked for replacement because first order did not contain locking carabiner as described. Why as never given a choice of what kind of lock type?

I had this concern when the "Green" "Ball Lock" model was only $15...that means it's not a ball lock but just a non-locker. The ball lock models are closer to $22. This is listed incorrectly on this page.
