Works wonderful connected to my new HP specter x360. While I get the HP message about charging when I connect it, it still charges the laptop with no issues. Allowing me to leave my Hp supplied charger in my bag.I have 2 VGA screens connected so I didn't use it I a 4k mode, and a wireless keyboard and mouse set on regular basis, and so far any additional usb drive I plugged in to it worked with no issues.I did not test its sound input/output yet, but I plan on doing it soon.The device doesn't get hot at all, and so far (Few weeks of daily use), I have no issues with it whatsoever.

I bought this station for my HP Spectre x360 so that I could have an all on one USB-C charger and hub for two low end 21" 1080P monitors and my wireless $15 keyboard/mouse. This docking station is advertised to handle one 4K monitor or two 1080P monitors.When I hooked up both monitors it would crash at least once every day. I thought to myself: "Okay... so it can't handle two monitors. Let's just plug in one and use the HDMI on the laptop for the other."Well six months later I am proud to say this docking station still crashes on me at least twice a week, and in some cases twice a day. I only have the one monitor and USB keyboard/mouse dongle plugged in.So.... if your looking for an all in one USB-C docking station that crashes and you have to unplug it from your computer, then remove the power, and then wait 10-15 seconds to restart at a minimum of 2 times per week. This is the product for you!Otherwise. Steer clear and do not buy. Worst $170 I spent of 2017.

Product arrived but could not get dual monitors to work on my HP Elitebook X360 1020 G2. Tech support reviewed the problems with me and pointed me to using passive Displayport to HDMI adapters was the cause. If you're using display port on this device make sure you have the active chip in the DP adapter. Once I got the correct cable this was working right away without issue. Would buy again due to fantastic customer service.

Set up with a Dell 5566 laptop, 16GB RAM. Connected to the SS-USB port on the laptop. Driving two Samsung 27" HDMI monitors, using the laptop monitor as my third monitor. Have my powered speakers, a Seagate 1TB external backup drive and a USB thumb drive connected. Also charge my cell phone with it from time to time.No problems with the initial install/setup. Has work fine ever since.

Great doc if you have a USB-C only computer. I had an issue with this properly working with an AmazonBasics DisplayPort to DVI cable, and after dealing with StarTech customer service for a while, they suspected the cable was not compatible. They sent me one of theirs for free and it worked great. I've had a few of their adapters over the years, and they've all been great. The customer service experience was great and cemented my loyalty to them.

I got this yesterday and it does not work with the 4K tv that I use as a monitor. The screen flashes black and I am unable to change the frame rate to try to fix it. I even put the resolution down to HD and had the same issue. I updated all of my drivers as well and the problem persisted. I now have the HDMI cable plugged into my computer and everything else plugged into the dock and it works. I am considering returning it.

Worked ok for a little while. Now doesn't work at all. Spend a few more dollars and get something from a reputable co.pany

Everything connected easily out of the box and within 5 minutes I had my laptop docked.Love that this product supplies power, and that it has both HDMI and DisplayPort options. I highly recommend this.

Bought this so that I could run several USB hard drives on a MacBook Air 2019 as well as hooking it all up to a 27" Dell monitor using the HDMI lead, it all works flawlessly and although not cheap well worth the extra cost.

Needs admin rights to install driver even though listings states"Easily connect dual monitors (DisplayPort and HDMI) right out of the box, with no display driver setup"returned as will not work for me.

For me this docking station is what it should do. Setup is Macbook Pro 13 inch 2018, HDMI Monitor (Dell SX2210), Mouse, Keyboard, Speakers. Works quite nice and the charge function works.Only thing I do not like is that it does not have all of the "plugs" in the back (speaking of the AUX port and USB in the front).

Don't waste your money, total junk.

Does exactly what I needed, no problems at all and work superbly with a new Dell laptop connecting 2 desktop monitors, charges battery as well as providing constant power. great value compared to others on the market and speedy delivery.
