Room Alert 12ER Rack Mountable Temperature & Environment Monitor – Supports 12 External sensors, 24/7 Online & Software alerting and Reporting, Made in The USA

We are a small group of 46 Condos in Puerto Penasco Mexico. We have multiple Network cabinets on the property. We bought the 12ER model to go along with 2 other 3E units. They integrate easily into a single view using the Room Alert Cloud Application. When we started out we just wanted to monitor the temperatures in several Network cabinets. We are not fortunate enough to have a "Data Center". We have closets. We quickly saw other Sensor options and bought this 12ER unit to allow us to monitor the Current Draw of a Sewer Pump on the property. We are now able to watch and graph normal Current Draw and can alert on a higher draw which indicates the pump is starting to get clogged up. The cost on 1 burned out pump, is over $750 USD. We are not adding additional models, 4ER with a Light Tower to install in a Guard Shack so we can both audible and light color for our Alerts.We are very pleased and are adding more and more sensors each week as this solution is much more that just a solution for a Computer IT department.This solution is simple to install, implement and the GUI in the Room Alert Application is very simple and powerful.This is one of the best out of the box to production experiences I have had in many years.

We've had 3 of these AVTech Room Alert appliances fail us in the last 3 years. The first failure was one that was probably 8 years old. Fair enough. We replaced it with a 4E that lasted about 13 months (just out of warranty). It's NIC died. NO ALERT from AVTech's cloud service about the appliance being offline!!! The next one also lasted less than a year - NO ALERT about the appliance failing AGAIN! I don't care about the warranty. I don't want another one of these pieces of garbage on my network - I cannot trust AVTech. Maybe if I paid for the premium $ubscription, I'd be alerted to the fact that my $100k of servers were not being monitored at all? AVTech is nothing buy a greedy scamming ripoff company. The tech is REALLY old too - really no upgrade in 10 years. There are other more modern options that don't stick you with overpriced, zero value subscriptions. Out of the box, these things are crippled by the manufacturer. Seriously, ONE stinking automatic alert? Shame on AVTech.
