AWESOME FOR TRANSITION and MANUALS
The media could not be loaded. THIS IS AWESOME! I have this installed on a transition setup. It works well to protect the tail. It would be great on setups that you want to use to practice manuals. It does prevent razor tail. It makes ollies harder for sure.

Just what my board needed
Sweet! It needed shaped of course. This is what I did maybe it will help someone. I put painters tape on the back of it and then clamped it on my board where I wanted it then I cut away the tape that was showing. This gave me easy guide on what to remove. I put it a vise and used a flap disc on a grinder. It worked good. I also used a counter sinking bit on the top side of the board so the screws were flush.

Perfect for Vintage style 10"
I bought this for the Powell Peralta Steve Caballero Chinese Dragon reissue deck I ordered at the same time.It fits perefct as is. This is technically a 10" deck but the tail is about 8-1/2" wide. The bone is exactly 8" and it's not too stiff. It was easy to clamp it on to the curved tail of the deck.I used a countersink bit to get the screw heads just below the surface and as it's a new deck, I was able to do it before putting the grip tape on so you can't see them now.I scanned the included instructions so everyone can see them before buying.

Overall pretty good.
Good product overall, will most likely need to cut to fit your deck though, unless you have a tail thats 8" or wider. Only thing I dont understand is why the side that goes against the deck is the side with the countersink holes, just doesn't seem right.

Very helpful
Used for doing spins, instead of wearing down the board, the bones take the beating. Very helpful!

Included Bolts will Split your Layers
This is a badly designed tail bone that will split your layers with the included hardware

Required modifications.
This product was possibly wide enough to fit a 10" board. It fit my 8" board like a whale tale. I had to cut it with a hacksaw and mold it with a large file. Looks and works good with extra effort.
