Challenging
I bought it to challenge an 11 year old child who is very smart and loves to assemble/ build things. This did serve as a brief challenge, so it was a big hit. Now she continues to come up with alternative models with the same materials, just modified.

Instructions are poor
The instructions are poor, and this was VERY difficult for adults to assemble. My husband is mechanically inclined, and even he had a tough time with this. We were so excited when it arrived, but just couldn't figure out the instructions.

Worth purchasing
The kids love it. I bought a bunch of them for the class I am teaching. The kids are 2nd to 3rd graders. The instructions are easy to follow and still engaging. It was totally worth the purchase.
