Fellowes 1/8-Inch Thermal Binding Covers, 10-Pack, Black (5222701)

These Thermal binding covers produce first class professional results withj my Felows thermal binder. Available in many different thicknesses (I have them all), You can also cut them down if you need to bind a small selfd made Diary or Pocket Book for note taking etc.

I bought these covers to be used with my "MARIGOLD Document Thermal Binding Machine - Perfect Glue Thermal Binder (TB200)" and it works like a charm: all you do is slide the set of documents into the presentation cover, plop it into the binder's slot, wait a couple of minutes and you are done. I have bound a bunch of employee handbooks and they all came out perfect. I didn't have any "loose sheet" or sheets that didn't bind, like some other customers described. I think what was key to my success was choosing the right sized covers. My employee handbooks are 59 pages, so I chose the 30-60 page cover. I also bound SOP manuals that are 24 pages, so I chose the 15-30 page covers. I think as long as the user chooses the correctly-sized cover, they will have 100% success with these covers -- at least when they use it with the Marigold binder.

A really quality piece of ware.

Overall cheep and easy way to put a pro look on reports or for reference material. I print off a lot of manuals and use them in my shop and this method of binding is much better than a 3 ring or staples. No loose leafs and not bulky.

The only thing we have found that we had to correct was the small amount of glue in the covers. When we made papers and documents that are used quite frequently, we had a problem with loose pages. We did follow all the requirements with respect to page volume, curing time, etc. The problem was corrected by adding an appropriate width of gauze bound glue strip. This solved the problem and all is well now. We have bound up to 350 page books using the Fellowes covers with extra glue strip and have had no further problems. You just have to double the cure time for this method an that resolved our problem. Thank you. Les.

Need to bind some pdf's as holding the book just is the way i prefer to go sometimes. Ipad just doesn't always feel like reading. This product was easy to use and out of 10 books that i bound all turned out perfectly. They final product looks like it was professionally bound and feels sturdy as you are turning the pages. I am definitely going to purchase from Fellows again in the future as I turn more of my pdf files into physical copies i can hold and even mark up if needed.

Not sure if it was the binders or the binding machine but had to waste 2-3 before we got one that bind.
