WXLAA Quartz Clock Movement with Hands for Mechanism Clock Repair Replacement Shaft Length 18.5mm (18/25 Inch) Thread Length 11.5mm(5/11 Inch)#5

I really needed a new clock movement and that part of the package worked. The hands were messed up and wouldn't go on the movement after looking up instructions on how to do it. Fortunately, the movement worked with my old hands so I now have my clock working. There are no instructions on how to replace the movement.

The movement was easy to install in my homemade clock, but the hands have green "glow in the dark" (noctilucent) stickers that barely glow. Since they didn't glow much, I painted the hands with black lacquer to show up on a metal clock face. I had planned to use hands from another movement but they were a different size and did not fit. The clock is accurate and quiet.

I never have ordered one of these things since I didn't know how they work. It was SUPER EASY. There are no instructions but it's pretty simple. I'm not good at doing mechanical things usually. The hands just press on to a the little shaft that is at the center of the clock. Put on the hour, minute, and second hands in that order. worked great and brought an old clock I bought in Ireland on vacation back to life!

I bought this to replace a unit in a small clock that’s in the kitchen. It does what it supposed to and was easy to install.

It was a very good item. The clock movement and I can see the attempt was made to package it well. However the cellophane was applied around styrofoam protective backing for the clock movement that it compressed a bit at the edges and the hands were up to the styro edges. Therefore the hand tips were slightly bent. Doesn’t seem like a big deal but clock hands tend to be very delicate and trying to get them straight and not wavy is a challenge. It matters because they won’t clear each other in rotation and get stuck or get stuck if your clock numbers are raised etc.Great product. Great price. Just a bit more effort to protect the lovely hands it came with would I’m sure be appreciated by future customers. Even me. Next time I’ll send back as this wasn’t a too important clock and I was able to repair them.

This clock has traveled with us for years and has been not functioning for the past 15 years. Finally moved to our retirement home and decided to make the effort to repair. Local shop was outrageously expensive, so we tackled it ourselves. Ordered this product and it arrived in about a week in perfect condition. Took the clock apart and removed the old hands and mechanisms. The install was pretty straight forward although it came with no instructions. I referred back to the order that I placed for this item and instructions were posted and it took less then 15 minutes to repair. Be patient, take your time and repair your clock yourself and save $$. Very pleased to have our old clock telling time again!!
