Love the variety of alphabets

Great reference for cross stitch lettering
After getting back into cross stitching after 30 years away, this is a perfect reference book. Just wish it had included some number. It was all lettering.

Lots of different styles of lettering.
This is not a book for beginners so if you are interested in learning I would recommend a cross stitch kit for beginners to understand how to read the fabric stitching. The book is helpful & has LOTS of letters, but not in-depth instructions.

For counted cross stitch not embroidery
It is a nice book for COUNTED cross stitch, not embroidery. Not what I thought I was getting. Maybe add more information, pictures to identify as cross stitch not embroidery

Good variety of fonts
I bought this book to find a more traditional font than the rather modern one used for the heading on a somewhat old-fashioned cross stitch pattern. I had to tinker with some of the letters, as the design constrained the letter height, but the end product was good. Plusses: Wide variety of fonts, clear patterns Minuses: No link indicated between lower case fonts and capitals; limited number of stitched letters illustrated; no classification of letters by height (number of stitches high)

Viele tolle, verschiedene Alphabet-Möglichkeiten
Da ich viel und gerne sticke und mir eine Auswahl an verschiedenen Alphabeten noch fehlte, war ich gleich begeistert, als ich dieses Buch fand. Die Lieferung ging schnell. Mir gefällt das Buch ganz super. Es sind alle ABC - Möglichkeiten auf dem Vorder- & Rückcover und 1x innen in bunt abgedruckt. Außerdem sind nochmal alle Alphabete auf der Innenseite des Vordercover's (diesmal in schwarz/weiß) abgebildet und auch gleich durchnummeriert. So kann man dann ganz schnell das gewünschte Alphabet im Buch finden, ohne groß suchen zu müssen. Was mir persönlich noch besonders gut gefällt, in diesem Buch sind die Garnfarben von DMC und Anchor angegeben.
