Straight Works! YUP!
Ha. I legit got a tv from a guy (freebie! Yeah boi). He got a new one this one fit on my Honda (barely, yeah boy!!). My parents tv went out, this one worked great until the bulb went out. Womp womp womp. NOPE! This product brought it back to life. WAAAHH!Now we be watchin’ all the M*A*S*H re-runs. Law and Order, too. 10/10!

Saved me hundreds of dollars.
Amazing. I thought I'd be spending hundreds of dollars to replace my 50' projection TV. With the help of YouTube videos and no tools what so ever, it took me less time to replace the lamp than to write this review.The picture quality is as good as new. I expect to get many more years of life out of my TV.

Installed in about 15 minutes and great picture so far
No complaints. Installed in about 15 minutes and great picture so far.Well, it's been less then a month and the bulb is not functioning properly. Thankfully we are still within our warranty time frame. I guess you get what you pay for. Going to replace with an authentic bulb and see how it goes.

poor quality
Opened the box and the spring clip to lock the lamp in place was sprung. plastic pieces were brittle, probably overheated. lamp brightness was worse than one I was replacing. Also, distributor is listed as "by Sony" They are not Sony, probably not a an authorized dealer. Looks like they took a returned lamp and repackaged it.

Lasted 18 months
Purchased December 2018 and on June 2020 it finally gave out. As it wasn’t covered by any warranty, I had to buy a new lamp. Lasted 18 months...let’s hope the new lamp lasts just as long.

Good for a cheap fix
Ok for the price picture wasn't sharp maybe if I paid $200 for an OEM part then maybe the picture would of been better. I wasn't willing to spend that much money on a tv set almost 20 years old.

worked for 4 months
Product arrived on time (as expected), it was really easy to install. It worked for about 4 months and now I can watch the TV for around 10 mins before the TV shuts down and I get a red light indicator on. Of course my 30(refund) and 90(replacement) day have expired.
