There are so many positives aspects of this book. Since the authors are teachers, the reader can trust that they have seen what can happen with each lesson. This book is teachers helping teachers make the classroom more creative, student friendly and interactive. The only downfall to this book is that once you pick it up, you do not want to put it back down. As a teacher, you want to immediately try all of the wonderful ideas inside. This is a great book for any teacher that wishes to make learning fun and exciting for students. The book is geared to the elementary classroom, but any teacher could use this book and get great ideas. There are so many lessons and apps shown in this book to help teachers set up an interactive classroom. The book is easy to read and hard to put down.

Kristin and Joe Merrill are down-to-Earth educators and authors who have written a book that any educator should read. This book is easy to read, has many technology ideas to incorporate into a classroom, and also gets you thinking about how to create an interACTIVE, student-centered classroom. This book will be with me as a guide to stay current, excited about teaching, and to inspire other teachers too!

This book should be given to every new teacher that enters the profession! It is not often that I purchase a PD book for myself, this one I had to have. Now that I am almost done reading it, I am in awe of their talents and am more inspired in my own teaching!!! This book is truly written in the form in which the title exudes! The book itself is so interactive!! Not only to they explain their thinking and ideas in an easy way, but they also include QR codes to many different examples of what they are explaining or showing!! This has been an added bonus when reading this!! Not only do they tell you how you can implement an idea or strategy or new app easily, but they show you how, AND even provide templates when appropriate! I have already recommended the book to my principal to purchase for the building!!
