This seriously smells like Scotch brand cellophane clear adhesive tape. You'll see what I mean. It's a novel idea to use an additive to prevent unwanted invasions of olfactory offense. The smell is somewhat unique so expect to develop a familiarity with the masking. I think this is an Ok product. I've used the floral smell they also make and it works a lot better than the mint one. In fact, the mint flavor smells like a less intense floral but it takes a lot more drops to cover the smell. If you are new and want to try it get the floral one; it works a lot faster and smell much, much better.

Amazing product...Love this stuff! I discovered this when a coworker told me how much she she loves her "Doo Doo drops" and showed me the bottle. The writing was in Kanji (Japanese writing) and I remembered what the bottle looked like and bought it at a local store. So happy to find this on Amazon for a better price! One drop is generally enough, but I'd recommend 2-3 if you're not feeling well or if you're at work, lol! This takes some of the discomfort out of needing to go in a public place, at work, or while visiting. Less time, wandering around, trying to find a remote restroom or waiting until everyone leaves the area. Very efficient. 1-3 drops in toilet, and go. TSA compliant. Very compact and easy-to-carry in even a small purse. To me, it smells more like pine or a general bathroom cleaner. I leave a bottle in our bathroom to help guests feel at ease and share information about this product with others whenever I can. It's a wonderful solution to a common concern. Will buy again! Highly recommend!

Works great when you are out. I’m never without it.

I first discovered this deodorizer at a Japanese specialty store here in Las Vegas. It is absolutely perfect. All you do is put two to three drops into the toilet and you are all set. It completely masks any odors and its completely silent. Unlike the other products (specifically those really famous ones with "poo" in the product name) this product doesn't come in a spray bottle so you don't feel embarrassed when using it in a public bathroom, and the scent is mild and very clean. I compare it to freshly scented cleaning product (think Mr. Clean or Fabuloso). Those other products are in spray bottles which are also fairly large - this product is the size of Visine eye drop bottle and it can easily fit in a purse or a pants pocket. The scent is mild and unobtrusive. Those other products have really strong "vanilla / Lavender / Rose" scents which (in my opinion) aren't what you want if you plan on using this in public bathrooms or even in your own home. Those other products seem to just "cover" unpleasant smells while this product completely eliminates those odors. It is best used prior to using the facility but you can also use it afterwards (if you encounter a restroom that is already foul smelling - putting a few drops of this product into the toilet will eliminate those odors immediately). I highly recommend it and have been using this product for over 10 years. Best product on the market for what it is intended.
