Thankfully we haven't had a catastrophic hail storm this year, but it has protected my tender basil and other plants from pea to dime-sized hail. I weigh down the edges with rocks so they don't blow away, but they haven't ripped or had any issues with them. I pop them over the plants when the weather looks stormy. If it just rains, they are great because they let the water through but protect them from the wind and hail. I've used them to protect some delicate plants from the intense sun as well, providing just a tiny bit of break from the sun. I have not used them for their original purpose of covering food but would recommend them for a bit of garden protection. They're obviously not heavy duty and are lightweight.

I love it because it meet my needs: It's light, easy to use. I use it mostly indoor and in my garage or back deck with a roof. It can protect my food from flies. For people want to use it outdoor, you may want someting stronger and heavier because there was the one has been broken.

The tent covers are easy to open and easy to close. I like the storage bag, although it could be slightly longer to cover the entire tent. You must be very gentle with the product because the support bars come out of the tiny plastic holders at the corners. It may appear broken, but if you are careful, you can reattach them. I've only used them on on occasion so far so hopefully, these covers will last through many uses. only 4 stars because of how easy the support bars come loose.

I love them, I really love them I remember my childhood when we had and it had been years since I saw one and these 2 served us a thousand, the only tragedy is that they do not survive attacks by my cat, removing that little detail they work a lot to protect food HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I'm using mine for my cat to amuse her - put a rolling bug or bird toy under it and watch her stalk it. Too fun! I also use it for food protection indoors and out. Very easy, lightweight and portable. Love that they came in a pouch to keep them tidy, safe.

Got for our annual 4th of July BBQ and fireworks. Since we host family outing on our covered deck with loads of food keeping the flies and other bugs off food is important. These screens do the trick. I may need to order another set.

I had these awesome mesh food covers many years ago and wanted to get some new ones. I'm an avid Googler so I googled and found them on Amazon. When they arrived (before the promised date I might add) I was thrilled to see that they are the same kind that I had before. I live in Canada, in Toronto Ontario. Ontario is called the land of a thousand lakes and all that water around us means we have a lot of little flying critters in the summertime. I can't wait to show those pesky little pests that we really don't want to share our food with them.
