The corn thresher itself is well designed and sturdy. Very easy to use and adjust for different size cobs. Only complaint would be the product packaging. There was no packing material in the box to keep the item from shifting around during shipping. As a result, the inside of the box was shredded and there were holes poked through the exterior of the box. The nuts and bolts were placed loose in the box and not all were there upon delivery. Luckily, I had what I needed to replace the missing parts in my toolbox, but packaging should be improved. Directions were in a foreign language, but it is pretty straight forward to assemble. I would recommend this product. Hopefully packaging will be improved.

I bought this because my wife has chickens and we gather dried corn from the fields around us to feed them. I had to build a special stand for it because the clamps are horizontal which means it will not clamp to a tub or water tank to hold the corn. You also cannot clamp it to a table or something because it clamps with the handle on the same side as whatever you clamp it to, so the handle would hit a table or something similar. Other than that, it worked great on DRIED field corn. Not fresh corn. Not sweet corn. Dried grain corn only. It was made specifically for what we use it for. Removing well dried grain corn from the cob for feeding animals or using for seed. That's it. It does make somewhat of a mess even with the 100 gallon water tank we use to keep our corn in, but it's only a kernel or two for each cob we run through it, so it's not too bad. Really it was a good deal for what we needed and it's saving our hands from getting sore from doing it by hand, so I would definitely recommend this for anyone who, like us, needs to get dried grain corn off the cob for animals or seed.

the first one i purchased had missing parts and there was a hole in the box. i was going to return it but decided to go to the hardware store and get the bolts i needed and it works just fine. the second one i orderd to replace the first one( before i decided to keep it) arrived with missing bolts as well no tool to assemble and was broken. the initial product is great but the shipping quality is really poor.

Delivered broken. See pic. Taken immediately after opening, never taken out of box. Nothing to cushion product during shipping. Should not be so easy to break. This material will not be good for long term use.

Product is primitve but rugged in construction. Item is poorly packaged with no padding. Parts were loose in box and box had gaping holes. Instructions where not in English and minimally useful. Luckily its a simple machine and it went together with some common sense trials. As to dekerneling corn... it works great and is fun to use.

Ordered this product is shell walnuts. First arrived with broken piece. Returned and second arrived with similar break in another part. Part of the problem is the lack of proper packaging, but the castings generally seemed poor quality for serviceable use. Returned for full refund.

I liked how fast it arrived, unfortunately it arrived broken.
