Revolutionize the way you live your life!
You may not believe me when I write this, but Jordan Raynor’s latest release, Redeeming Your Time, is one of the most TRANSFORMING books you will read this year! With thousands of motivational books professing to have found the “elixir of time management,” Jordan Raynor takes a humble and refreshing approach, removing us from the center and putting God in His rightful place. Including 7 biblical principles inspired by Yeshua/Jesus’ time on earth and 32 practices that will reshape your life, Redeeming Your Time is more than a self-help book; it’s a tool that will put the puzzle pieces of your life together to ensure that you are doing your most effective work for the Kingdom of God!Yeshua knew He didn’t have a lot of time to fulfill His mission, so He was purposeful with how He spent each day. Nevertheless, while it was essential for Him to be among the people and minister to the lost, Yeshua also showcased the importance of separating ourselves from the noise and spending time in silence. Today, we live in a world of unending noise, distractions, and idols that want to divert our attentions away from the purpose and calling God has placed on our hearts; however, we don’t have to remain in this constant state of feeling swamped by our work and personal lives. It’s time we learn how to turn off the noise, prioritize what matters most, understand the importance of rest, and close the open loops that are distracting us from successfully diving into productive, deep work!Jordan Raynor’s personality shines through each page of Redeeming Your Time! Writing in a conversational rather than lecture kind of way, readers will resonate with Jordan’s message and the practices he encourages everyone to implement into their lives. Debunking the myths that work gets us into the Kingdom of God and that we were created to experience the thrill of life (YOLO), Jordan does a FABULOUS job of redirecting readers to the truth. He writes, “No matter how productive you are in this life, your status as an adopted child of God will never ever change…God has given us work to do! We’re not here to just coast through life. We are here on a mission to glorify God by doing as much good for others as possible.""No matter how productive you are in this life, your status as an adopted child of God will never ever change." ~ Jordan Raynor"God has given us work to do! We’re not here to just coast through life. We are here on a mission to glorify God by doing as much good for others as possible." ~ Jordan RaynorRedeeming Your Time is by far the best book I have read all year! As someone who was struggling to complete my tasks and fulfill my goals, this book not only gave me the guidance to no longer feel overwhelmed by my usual juggling act, but it also taught me how to restore my time without reducing the work I have been called to do! One of the most humbling encouragements I found in this book was the reminder that “while it may appear that we will all die with unfinished symphonies, ultimately this is just an illusion, as ‘God is able to bring eternal results from our time-bound efforts.’ (Jordan Raynor & Jen Wilkin— also, see Philippians 1:6). After reading these words, I realized the false pressure I had put on myself to race to the finish line, always looking to the future to make sure I will finish the work set out for me, rather than embracing what God is doing in the present. Once I released this weight, I noticed that my work became more meaningful and productive and that I’m no longer afraid that I will be a disappointment if I die before completing the vision God has given me!“See then that you walk exactly, not as the unwise, but as the wise, redeeming the time, because the days are wicked.” ~ Ephesians 5;15-16 (TS2009)If you are one of the many people who feel as though the waves of busyness and noise are constantly pummeling you underwater, I cannot recommend Redeeming Your Time enough! In fact, if you’re ready to commit to revolutionizing and redeeming your time, I want to encourage you to sign up for Jordan Raynor’s 7-week Coaching Community — a program that goes through each chapter with a community of international participants, weekly zoom calls with Jordan himself, and one-to-one coaching! Doing this course was a huge blessing and provided me with accountability as I began implementing the new habits I formed through reading this book!

Great Book - both philosophical and practical
Really enjoyed the book and have implemented most of the suggestions. The way forward for projects is really helpful, and the examination of your callings was also a good exercise. I would recommend wholeheartedly.

Amazingly practical!
Raynor doesn’t just share great time-management principles, but gives very practical and step-by-step examples of how he was implemented them himself!

Enjoyable combination of original ideas, best practices and theological context
I knew this would be an interesting book given his references to N.T. Wright, Tim Keller and Peter Drucker. Theological treatment is excellent. Principles cover a lot of ground and give a good framework. This book ties so many great works into one gospel-centered read. He embraces secular practices and insights where they work well, and rightfully calls out a few that will lead you astray. By design or oversight the book is incomplete in some regards. You'll notice constant references to bonus materials on his site.At first I was annoyed that I needed to create a login, but the videos and downloads were very helpful. They are practically mandatory if you are serious about implementing any of these principles. Though I get the feeling I'm being pushed through a marketing funnel that will inevitably end with some kind of upsell to online courses or coaching. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, but I prefer a purchase that is self-contained.Personally, I found pastor Tim Challies' book "Do More Better" easier to put into action and more comprehensive re: to-dos, notes, and calendar. But Jordan does a better job, in my opinion, of helping us relate to how Jesus went about his work. Buy them both and you should have a very powerful set of practices and Christian principles to build out your own system.

Listened to the audiobook -- immediately bought a paper copy to reread
Great book, one of the most effective I've read at helping to weed through all the productivity noise and see how to honor God with your time. As someone who swings from 'wildly productive' to lazy at times, it was helpful and refreshing to see both the biblical truths behind why, as well as some practical tips. 10/10 recommend.

Life changing
I can count on one hand the books that have led to major life changes and this one is amongst them. Save yourself time and wasted effort reading and trying other time management books and simply start with Jordan's book - plus all the wonderful free resources that he includes online for each chapter.I have read and tried to implement various time management and work practices over the years, some with success but none have left me as organized or lifted the overwhelm as much as this one.As a follower of Christ I have thoroughly enjoyed looking at time management in alignment with how Jesus lived his life and carried out his daily to do. Each chapter has simple to follow steps that will transform your day to day life

great book and resources
This book is fantastic! I can’t wait to really implement a lot of the different ideas that were proposed here. Christian leaders need to read this, especially if you are feeling overwhelmed by you (lack of?) schedule. The other cool thing about this book is that there are a variety or resources that the author has put together on his website. Those along are amazingly high value!

Time is of the essence
Can’t stop talking about this book. Of all Jordan Raynor resources this is by far the most practical for me, helping me to combat the overwhelming constraint on my time the was heading towards burnout (again). It was a must read for me. So good I bought it twice (book and audiobook). Feeling calm and productive heading into the holidays. My favourite food for thought was that I can be busy…without being hurried.

A very helpful book for managing your life in today's addiction to business.
I have been a fan of Jordan's podcasts and blogs for some time, that is how I found out about this book. It is as straightforward as I think you can be in relation to how as Christians we manage our time. He doesn't do it all on his own shoulders he has gathered wisdom from many others writing Redeeming Your Time this is why in my opinion it's a great book to read. If you read this you at least understand what the other books are about and you are free to go ahead and read them. The book is more suited to people who have an office type job I think. It doesn't really carry over into my particular work world but it does apply to my church commitments and managing them effectively. I have by no means applied all the practices of the book but all make sense. The theology of the book is its strongest point, whatever we do in life we should base our practices on the template of Jesus, the word made flesh. For the glory of God and the good of others.
