I purchased the bundle of three Clover seam rippers. I had one already but needed more. Honestly, Clover makes some of the best sewing tools and notions. They're high quality, with very reasonable prices. I especially like their seam rippers. They are sturdy, sharp, large enough for a comfortable grip, but not overly large, and have that little red ball on the short point. (In case you're wondering, that little red ball is there to protect fabric from being pierced and ripped accidentally while a seam is being cut. The ball point goes UNDER the seam's threads, while the longer, cutting point is on top. Then you just "zip" along the seam, easily and safely cutting the threads.) This seam ripper is very sharp! Be careful. It does come with a thin, plastic slip cover for the point, but that can quickly fall apart. I repaired the cover for my original seam ripper with several layers of tape. I suggest reinforcing the point covers right away, before they fall apart. (CLOVER, if you're reading this, I strongly recommend you create better, sturdier, SAFER point covers for your excellent seam rippers. Then, your product would be PERFECT in every way!) I not only use seam rippers to rip seams apart, I also use them to cut sewn button holes open, cut threads behind buttons, lift and snip threads, and take sewn books apart for altered-book journal projects. I'm sure there are other ways to use this handy little tool. This is why I purchased the set of three-- I keep one in my sewing basket, one by my sewing machine, and one in my knitting/crochet bag. (The one I've had for some time has already taken up residence in my craft studio!) If you are looking for quality, reasonably-priced sewing tools and notions, I recommend CLOVER brand. I've never been disappointed with any of their products that I've purchased.

I have used Clover seam ripper before (with brown flat handle). The ripper is great but handle isn't for longer use. I much prefer this handle. And at this price, it's great.

I don't know how long the sharpness will last, but I'm impressed with this item so far. Does the job so much more smoothly and quickly than the cheap ones I'd bought previously.

Funciona muy bien y sobre todo es muy delgado y por lo tanto entra en cualquier tipo de costura. Su precio se me hizo perfecto para el uso que tiene.
