One For All LG TV Replacement remote – Works with ALL LG TVs – Learning feature -URC4911

We recently bought an LG OLED55C14LB TV which is a nice slim set with a fantastic picture, but we were very disappointed with the remote controller that accompanied the set: banana shaped, fiddley, and awkward to use, especially the 'OK' button.So, after a bit of searching, we ordered an All-In-One, URC4911: what a difference. It has ideal proportions, the buttons have a good feel and work reliably, and the controller is well made.It is now a pleasure to use the TV, and there was no setting-up either! It was £20 well spent.Highly recommended.PS: Under 'Product details' the dimensions of the URC4911 are stated as, 19.5 x 4.4 x 2.5 cm, but the actual URC4911 is, 19.5 x 4.4 x 2.0 cm. Also, in one place, the batteries required are stated as, '2 x AA', when, in fact, the URC4911 uses, '2 x AAA' batteries.2025-03-02 update: The buttons on this range of remote controllers tend to jam on, causing the red light to remain on and the controller to be nonfunctional. We have had 3 controllers with this problem. The solution is to locate the jammed button and wriggle it until it releases. Then spray all buttons with a plastic lubricant. GT85 is a good choice. Then spray the keys once a year.

Bought a One for All brand replacement for the LG remote that ended up in the dog's drinking bowl as it's a brand that's been around for decades. This remote was childishly easy to pair with the TV and all the functions you need work perfectly. Unlike some other brands of replacement remote controls, this is well-designed, feels good in the hand and seems to be made of decent quality materials. However, I've barely had it for five minutes, so can't comment on long-term reliability (or ability to withstand doggy bowls of water).

Couldn’t afford official LG replacement remote so took a punt on this. It’s great. My kids moaned, but now realise it’s quicker than LG remote, buttons are in a logical place. It’s rectangular so lays flat unlike old LG remote. It’s lighter in weight and has a nice feel. Added benefit it had a catch to hold battery cover in place unlike LG remote. Kids have also found Netflix and Amazon buttons and some shortcuts so overall a 5 star product. Packaging is plastic free and wrapped inside in tissue paper which is nice little touch.

I know many people probably want to go the other way and get a Magic remote to replace the standard LG remote, but for me my elderly relative struggled with the Magic remote esp. as LG do not offer an option to turn Off the onscreen mouse pointer it provides (really LG!). She also struggled by accidentally hitting the scroll wheel on the Magic remote.This remote is simple, clear and worked out-the-box on relatives LG Nanocell TV.

Not quite as good as the original tv remote but it does the trick and is better than the rubbish £5 one I had before.

Great replacement for my old LG TV remote. The remote control for my old but perfectly working 2010 LG TV stopped working. Troubleshooting with LG support confirmed the remote control was ‘broken’ but that the genuine LG replacement was no longer available. Several generic remote controls on Amazon promised full functionality with all LG TVs right out of the box. I opted for this slightly more expensive OneForAll model on the basis that it was supplied and shipped by Amazon, so confident of a no quibble return should it not work. But it did! Pity the required two AAA batteries couldn’t have been included, though.

I had lost the original remote, so had to use this one, which I found a very good alternative.
