I did this years ago, when I had a garden window full of them and it worked fine. But I don't I notice now days using the fertilized water I don't get as many blooms. It could be the plant, the sun location or the mixture. But I would definitely give it a try. **Q: How much do I give to a mini violet in a 2 inch pot** A: I mix it in a gallon container and use the pots with the wicks so that the plants are fed constantly from the roots up. Sorry I can’t give you a specific amount for the mini pots. **Q: Can this be used on Thanksgiving, christmas cactus?** A: I use it on my Christmas cactus. **Q: Does anyone find this makes your leaves grow in weird? Like from the sides and crooked instead of from the center?** A: I haven't had that happen with this fertilizer. Sometimes my dark purple dwarf violets will grow side sprouts, but I never saw that happen with my large pink or white violets. They all get this fertilizer. If the side leaves are turned slightly and not in line with the other leaves, it could be the amount of light getting to that part of the violet.
