Generally, the occurrence of 4.7V in the battery indicates a battery cell malfunction, and the charger is generally unable to repair it. Activation can only be considered when the battery shows 0V.

I have used this unit to charge a 30 amp hour lifepo4 battery with no issues. The charge time required for a 100 amp hour battery @11.7 volts would be rather long. I do not know why the charger is reading 0 unless it is not detecting the lifepo4 battery. At the minimum it should display 11.7 volts. When I plug the battery in the charger detects and flashes charging amperage and voltage alternatively. It may be a back connection between the battery and charger unit. Hope this helps.

Charger failed to even attempt to charge its own brand battery

Charger failed to even attempt to charge the same-brand 50ah LifePO. Let it go dead.We'll see if the MFG has any suggestions or replaces it.Updated: During initial use i left two small led celing lights on and this drained the battery. For some reason this 5a charger couldn't compensate with a charge and draw. I topped off battery (lifepo) with a 10a NOCO then put this one back on and shut off ceiling light. No trouble. However i want a light on to discourage mice in the trailer. I will teat more with only one of the lights on and maybe they draw more voltage than this charger can put out . They are small lights...Will follow up. I was hopeful....

Nice charger.

Comes with a nice set of alligator clip leads and two screw terminal leads. Simple as it could get for LiFePo charging, just hit the mode button until "Li" shows and connect it the battery. Also has modes for lead acid, AGM, and gel.

I have used this charger for both LiPO and lead acid 12V batteries, and it works well for both.

Not What I was looking for

I give this 4 stars even though it didn't work for me because it seems to have potential. I didn't like the fact it heats up very quick while charging in a normal stat.

I like their batteries... Support? Not so much. The charger? Not at all.

Wasn't reliable when used on an Ecoworthy LFP battery. Meaning sometimes it would charge, other times it would sit there for days (if allowed to) in confusion. Ecoworthy Customer Service = Waste of time. Sadly, I found this out post return window. Don't let my bad luck carry over to you. Consider these three instead:ShauerLi-timeNocoLast I knew Shaur had US based support so I'd start there if I was to do it over.
