D-FantiX Battery Tester, Universal Battery Checker Small Battery Testers for AAA AA C D 9V 1.5V Button Cell Household Batteries Model BT-168

I bought this battery tester because I hate digging out the voltmeter with its confusing dial and probes that keep breaking. THIS D-FantiX device, however, has no probes, no dials, and it works great. I tried it with regular batteries and my Eneloop rechargeables, and it worked correctly on both. I should have gotten this thing years ago. I recommend it.

Works like a charm!! and I LOVE how inexpensive it is!! I almost bought a more expensive one but I'm glad I didn't!!

I got this tester to replace an old tester that stopped working. While this tester works fine, I do have 2 design suggestions that would improve this tester that my old one had: 1) there was a “channel” that you would place a cylinder battery in that held the battery in place, and 2) the slide lever that made contact with the battery was spring loaded, which also made it easier to keep the battery in place while testing it. Without these two design features, with this battery tester you have to be sure that you have the battery properly held in place, which is why I gave this tester 4 stars instead of 5. That said, it does the job it’s supposed to.

Very helpful. Prevents throwing good batteries away or trying to.make bad batteries work.

Exactly what I needed

It works, but it’s much more flimsy than I expected. I had to hold the larger batteries in place. I prefer a tester that holds the battery in place on its own.

Works as expect, seems to be slightly inaccurate for rechargable batteries. Overall give a good idea to the health and charge of many different batteries.
