Duracell does make many batteries in China and many do eventually leak so read the label before purchasing. Since Duracell moved production to China i have had both AA and AAA cells have leak years before their 10 year shelf life and destroy item including LED flashlights, lanterns, and headlamps. That said, many, if not most, other brands are also made in China and leak so there is no good answer.

Picture says d cell but description says 12_c cell. so what are these: dor c?

The D cell is the bigger one - cell is smaller then a D. Hope this answers your question
