Review changed from 5 to 1 stars, mouse is unusable for gaming
**UPDATE** The StarTOP people handled my complaints very well and did everything they could to make the situation right. While I appreciate their efforts and attention, I still stand by my original review of this particular mouse. StarTOP however gets a solid 5/5 stars 8)Had to change my review from 5 to 1 stars after realizing the tremendous amount of movement required to get the mouse to budge from a still position. Even on the highest "CPI" setting, the mouse is incapable of making minute adjustments from a stopped position, making this mouse useless for any sort of gaming where mouse precision is necessary (IE most games in existence). You can move the cursor to the general place you want it relatively fine, but good luck trying to make small adjustments once it's there. It's just not possible with this mouse. It's the equivalent of putting your car into Park every single time you to need to stop, and then Drive every single time you need to move, even if you just need to move one inch. That being said, if you just want a very light, very small mouse with a smart auto-off feature for non-gaming related activities, this would be perfect for you. For my purposes (mostly gaming) it is unusable.

Seller sent a replacement. Replacement works great!
Update: Replacement works great! Thank you so much for your assistance. Great Customer service!Update: The seller contacted me today to offer to fix the issue by replacing the mouse. That alone is worth 3 stars. Customer service is a lost art with too many companies these days. Hoping for a positive outcome. I will update with more stars if the replacement is satisfactory.Original: Stopped working after a few weeks. I thought it was an inexpensive alternative but it was actually a waste of money. Great design but didn't hold up.

Bang for your buck!
I bought this mouse to bring to school with me as I'm so used to my desktop. I was specifically looking for something with a CPI button because that is what my mouse at home has. At first glance, I saw the box the mouse came in, received inside an envelope, was smashed and the mouse was falling out of the box. I plugged it into my laptop, it did not working immediately but after using the installation CD and following their directions included in the package the mouse worked perfectly. All of the buttons and scroll wheel work perfectly. The mouse has nice audible clicks and is ergonomically shaped (assuming you're left handed.) It works on most surfaces including my laptop itself and various table tops. I didn't need any fancy specifications and this mouse has fit my needs very well. There is a power save function on the mouse but it is all pretty intuitive you can just press any button to turn the mouse back on. This was only ten dollars when I bought it, great value to me.

The more I use this, the less I like it.
Yes, I understand this is a $10 mouse. I planned on using this as a back up mouse but due to the back and forward buttons on the side it became my primary. However, my biggest issue with this, is that you cannot make very precise movements. If you're trying to move just one pixel... it just won't move. The mouse doesn't pick up small movement so you're stuck going back and forth over and over. So if you're doing ANY type of picture/photo editing or precisely setting an Excel row or column to an exact size you'll get frustrated as hell.I'm going to end up replacing this for certain.I'm upping the rating to a 4 star because while the mouse does still have this issue I continue to use it daily (though I get frustrated when resizing Excel columns and rows) and the customer service by the company has been exemplary.

Wonderful mouse for it's price. It's literally the best mouse I've ever owned! Highly recommended if you're poor like me.
First of all, my Five star raiting is for the price range of this mouse. If I were rating this against an expensive gaming mouse, my 5 star raiting may change. But since my biggest concern was getting a wireless mouse with a smooth scrolling track wheel or whatever you call the wheel between the two mouse buttons is. And this mouse's track wheel works great! Not only that, I love the DPI settings. I switch between my laptop screen and using my TV quite often and end up using various surfaces for my mouse, and I didn't even realize how much easier life is having a mouse with adjustable DPI settings would be. The range of this device is also much better than any I've previously owned. Now, as a disclaimer. I am poor and because of some things that happened in my young adult life. I have money taken away from me at any job I get, So for a long time now, all of my life's paid for expereinces have been only under the American all you can afford way of life. And all I can afford is on the very cheap end. So for the price this mouse is amazing! Oh, and the range! I had perfect for as far as I could get while still being able to see the screen to test the connectivity range. My only gripe is that there is no software for this mouse. The best way I found to program the buttons or more is to use Xmouse. With Xmouse you can change the properties of all the mouse buttons, even individualize the mouses buttons per program. So, it's a tiny gripe since the Xmouse software lets me do what I wanted. You can find the software by googling it, "Xmouse" or go to their official homepage [...] So, that's about it. Oh, I guess I'll say that this is by far the best mouse I've ever owned and I've never paid more than 25 dollars for a mouse. My previous mouse that I replaced with this one cost about 20 at Walmart and was even a Microsoft made wireless mouse. But whithin a month the mouse's scroll stopped working right. And being able to scroll gently down a screen is a luxury I didn't realize I missed so much until now.

Great comfy mouse!
This mouse is great! This is my first time with a wireless mouse and it is far easier to maneuver it when I don't have to worry about the cord getting in the way. I've had it for about a month now, and there haven't been any issues. Occasionally it will lag and I just have to stop moving it for a few seconds and then it will work fine again. My favorite feature is the hand rest design. The past mice that I have used did not have the finger grip shape, and my hand would become sore after long periods of use. This mouse is very comfortable for my hand.
