Mann Filter C 35 154 Air Filter

I installed the MANN C 35 154 air filter in my Volkswagen Passat, and it’s a perfect fit — just like the original from the factory. This fit my 2012 VW Jetta TDI perfectly. Based on the prior dealer-installed filter, the fit, finish, and form were identical sans a few markings. This does seem to lend validity as other reviews said that this is the OEM manufacturer. When it comes to the rather inexpensive filters for a car I avoid cheap and often stick with OEM products as are good quality for good brand such as VW, Toyota, etc. On the cheap brand filters (Fram) you will feel and see significant quality differences such as the surface area of the filter (shorter pleats), lower quality rubber used, a feeling of being more flimsy, and if you rummage around online you can find filter performance statistics for flow resistance vs. particulate capture rates. Overall, this is exactly what fit my car, matched the oem quality, and frankly is pretty inexpensive for how important it is for keeping your car healthy. So pick this up if it fits and you will be happy you did.

I usually replace these air filters every 10K miles as I live in a area with a bit of construction and dust/pollen/ and other debris in the air. This filter fits like factory original and I haven't seen debris pass through this. MANN is a brand I trust for any VW as they do manufacture a lot of the OEM parts and filters for VAG products. Will not collapse or degrade and does a great job in the factory airbox. Highly recommended.

Perfect replacement filter for my Mk6 GLI, car has a!most 60k miles on, I believe the filter was replaced when I bought it at 20k miles so it's the only time it was changed, the o!d one was not that dirty anyway. This Mann filter is a direct replacement for the OEM and looks just like it, hoping it lasts, but at this price I can afford to change it more often
