This stuff is great. Easy to use and it adds beauty to whatever you use it on. Love the color. It dries fairly quickly. The smell isn’t great but it dissipates rather quickly. So far it’s been very durable on the few projects I’ve used it on. Still planning to use on many more things. Will definitely buy another tube when this one runs out. The price seemed steep for a small tube but it’s thick and a little goes a long way.

I bought this inexpensive tube of gold because I received a small golden covered cast aluminum statue that had some scuff marks on it. A tiny tiny bit of this easily made the scuff marks disappear and the statue look brand new perfect! I will use this for other projects and in making art as well as if I need it again for statue repair work!

First time using run and buff and I loved it. I think it is very versatile. So easy to use and I love the lookOf it. It is at a good price point and it great quality. The color is very luxe. The plant quality appears to be good as well. Trying to think of more things to do with it so I can use it again!

This product worked really well for my purposes. I had some primed/painted hinges on some bifold doors that I wanted to replace with brass-finished hinges, but couldn’t find the exact right size. So I removed them and stripped the paint off down to the bare metal, and then applied just a tiny amount of the Antique Gold by swiping it on lightly with a t-shirt rag, and they came out really nice. See the before and after, side by side. Pretty color!

Reasonably easy to apply fairly evenly (not perfect). Took some shiney gold from gauche to gorgeous with an antique brass look!

This may come in a small package but a little goes a long way and it will last a long while! Very impressed with the coverage and durability. The look is that of metal once you work it in, there is no strong odor, and was easy to use. Would recommend wearing gloves if you plan on using your finger to work into spots, but it did clean up nicely if you didn’t let it dry (took a little more effort to clean up if you let it dry).

Let me start by saying, I think this paint is great! Yes, a little goes a long way. But as for ease of application, I’m not sure if it was because I was working on metal, but it was a little tricky to get on there in a way that looked like it was covering and consistent. No way could I have done it with my finger, I definitely needed a cloth. But sometimes if I rubbed Too much or too hard. It would just rub off what I just put on. That said, I certainly managed, and I was able to do two of these lamps in less than 30 minutes, even with a little bit of struggling. And they look amazing! I can’t believe I have gold lamps for seven dollars, Lol! Gold stuff can be so much more expensive, so now that I know about rub and buff, I can just buy things that are silver, and make them gold myself. I still have about half of the tube left too!

This is super easy to apply. I used antique gold and it made my handles look nice and shiny! I just used a rag to apply and q-tips for the tight areas. A little goes a long way. I applied it to multiple handles and barely used any.One other nice thing is the rub n buff seems really durable after it dries. I got some on my countertop and it was difficult to get off. So be careful where you apply it, but also, I’m glad it will stay on the handles longterm.
