Works great lighter not as greasy as the cream. - This is the third Zymox product I have tried. I tried the drops for the ears first and they worked beautifully. Then a few months later my puppy developed a rash on the ear margins. She was getting crusty scabs and while it did not bother her much, it bothered me and she was losing her fur! I first tried the Zymox cream and it worked but it seemed to heavy and would leave her ear feeling and looking matted down and greasy. I decided to try the Zymox spray instead. My westie puppy did not like the sound of the spray so I just open the cap and apply some with my finger to saturate her ear margins inside and out. I am generous with it but not pouring it on. When it dries it might be slightly sticky but not nearly as bad as with the cream. I am not using any of the products with hydrocortisone at this time. I am also washing the area twice a day with a mild vinegar and water solution before I apply the zymox. I love Zymox without hydrocortisone for my dog and I feel it is safe to use compared to other options. I would recommend this for a dog or cat with any skin issue. It's been a real blessing when nothing else would work.
