Q: Why does this have to be rinsed off?

I put quite a lot on, so I do rinse (in "hot" water) & it leaves a great little coating on my skin. I think if you would want to keep it on, put it on "after" you come out of your bath or shower & rub it in to spread it ~ just use a little dot for your arms, legs etc. You are going to love love love it!

Q: does it smell like the body wash?

Yes. In, fact, if you like the body wash you will love the body conditioner. It's a must have. Paired with the body wash it will leave your skin soft and supple. When I apply the at night, the effects last through the next day and there is no oily residue to stain your sheets. I find the scent to be particularly calming at night. It doesn't smell of lavender, but the calming effect is similar.

There is a light lavender scent.

Q: Does this have to be used in the shower and rinsed off or can you use it like a regular lotion and just massage it into dry skin?

It should be rinsed off after being rubbed in before bed. If you are one who showers in the morning like me, it is difficult to get in a routine at night.

Smells so good!

I love this stuff. It smells great and I love using it in the shower or bath before bed. It has enough moisturizer in it that I don’t need to put anything else on afterward. It’s not greasy at all. I love how my skin feels and smells afterward.

The best in shower moisturizer

This smells soooo good!!! It leaves my dry skin so soft and well moisturized. It’s so convenient and a great time saver! I love that once I’m out of the shower, I’m done! Great for summer, no heavy lotions to apply, great layering product for winter- I apply after body wash and before lotion. I wish they made a bigger bottle!

Great product, but shipping & handling could have been better

Easy to apply, but be careful because the shower floor (or tub) can get really slippery after using it. I love its mild scent and how it leaves my skin soft & supple.Some product leaked out.

Ok. Please bring back the Olay in-shower lotion

Small botttle. Fragrance is ok. It rinses off and does not left a greasy feel. Moisturizes ok but nothing like the moisturized satin feel of your skin the Olay in-shower lotion provided. Why did they have to discontinue it.

Creamy, smells amazing

Owns up to the name. The only in shower lotion that actually moisturizes. Cost way more then it use to, 3 times as much for some reason. Still effective.
