I got this for my mom. She had a stroke. This is good for her when used to go out or just to sit outside. I am glad I got this chair for her.

Reclining feature broken after a few uses
I rarely write reviews, but I gotta say, it's beyond infuriating to pay this much money for something that breaks down after two months with minimal use and is, of course, outside of the return window. The reclining feature is completely stuck on one side. I have only had to move the back from upright to down maybe ten times total. My spouse, who is bedbound with a CSF leak, relies on this when we need to get to doc appointments or even to get to the bathroom. As of today it's useless.

Slightly higher seat height.
This seemed like a quality product, but it did not work for my mom because she scoots with her feet, and the seat was higher than a typical wheelchair, and she couldn't get enough traction to move it. Another point is the reclining mechanism for the back is only available from the back handles of the wheelchair, the passenger cannot really recline or return the chair upright by themselves. My mom is only about 5"1', so a larger person, or someone who uses their arms to move, might not be bothered by the seat height.

Love this reclining wheelchair!
My father had cervical spine surgery 2 years ago and a really bad fall a few months ago. This chair gives him support for his upper back and neck (with the security of the anti-tip feature in the back) He can no longer sit in a big comfy recliner because his knees are so bad, so this wheelchair gives him the same features as a recliner. He likes to lay back at 60 degree angle with his legs elevated just as he did in his recliner. The only downside is that he can't recline himself, but it's ok. We can just recline him to the comfort level he wants and he's good for a few hours, and when he's ready to roam around, we raise him to seated position and he can wheel himself.
