Marrons Glaces - Candied Chestnuts, 9.17 oz.

They came well packed. Each piece was wrapped tightly and moist and delicious. Expensive but worth every penny

These used to be the best marrons glacées in the US. These were absolutely horrible. Dry and stale marrons glacées.

I was a bit skeptical at first to order these via Amazon given the price and some of the reviews, but I’m glad I took a chance. The taste and texture is exactly as I had remembered from my past, a rich sweet. Mine were not a sticky mess as some had experienced. Packing is perfect - each chestnut is wrapped individually, 11in total, set in a tray, packed in a tin with a thick foil vacuum sealed in the tin, and the tin itself comes plastic shrink wrapped. I don’t know how much better this can be packed to ensure it survives shipping. I can see how excessive humidity or moisture could ruin these so storage is an important factor. Will buy again in the future.

These were not like the matrons glacé that I have had before.? They were sweet but a little dry without the chestnut flavor. In my opinion, they are overpriced

It’s a good product. Not the best I had. These ones maybe a little dry. It still recommend it since this type of product is difficult to find.

Bought these as a novelty gift, but got to try them. Quite sweet and have a lovely texture. I doubt I'll buy again because of the price tag, but they're definitely good.

The marrons quality is good but they are poorly glace' and candied

I bought this can last month. And i have to say that they are so delicious. I paid $30 in October 2019, went on to buy it again and the price jumped up to $44 for the exact same thing! I don’t understand why they would change the price so much within such a short amount of time!!!
