When you pay £25 for a tiny varnishing brush you don’t expect it to be damaged. Clearly hasn’t been packaged with care and bristles are now completely bent. Can’t return or refund because it’s by a third party seller and then it doesn’t connect you when it says they will. Just go buy a cheaper one, it feels the same as cheaper synthetic varnish brushes I’ve used.

I loved this brush so much that I got one for varnish, and one for oiling in. Perfect softness and doesn't shed at all. Good for dusting off dry oil paintings, too

this was the perfect varnish brush. There was no shedding. Even coverage. Easy to clean and just a pleasure to use.

This is a TERRIBLE varnishing brush - don’t let the fancy packaging fool you. I used this with gamblin satin varnish and it left my painting incredibly streaky. The only way I could think to fix it was to apply another layer of varnish with a cheap foam brush. Fortunately that worked with no issues. Do yourself a favor and save yourself $20 by not buying this crappy brush. A $1 foam brush from the craft store worked better

I like the thinness of this brush to apply varnish and the ease of cleaning with only water. However, after applying varnish to one 8 inch round board, I noticed a bristle was loose and of course I pulled it out. It happened again when using for another board. Sure hope I don’t lose all of the bristles! That would not be good for the price of this brush.
