A: A oxy/propane,  oxy/acetylene, butane,  or similar torch is required for soldering with this solder. Soldering irons are not hot enough.  Live instruction is recommended.

**Q: are these cadmium free ?**
A: Yes, it is cadmium free. 
We do in-house XRF elemental tests with USA made instruments and there is no cadmium (Cd).

**Q: Could I sweat solder brass and copper metal with this solder using a small butane your house?**
A: Yes, but use borax, boric acid 100 ml: 100 ml, 100 ml water to 100 ° C before use

I have a tendency to use too much solder when I have to cut my own solder.  These precut solder pal lions are just the right size.  Now I don’t have to worry about too much clean up because I won’t be using too much solder.
